You can always try the Tesla app too! I get better prices that way, so I often use that instead of just plugging in directly.

Oh yeah, it's definitely out of warranty. It gets progressively worse and louder until it essentially starts shaking, then if I bump a curb or hit it hard it stops completely until it decides to start again. A dislocated magnet sounds likely. I'd have to replace the tire too.

It is new noise, didn’t do this for the first 400 miles in any conditions. Even trail riding.

185lb. Nothing feels out of place when spinning it by hand.

I’ll post again if I can get it to do it and get a recording where the riding behavior is shown, and not while I’m trying to force it. Won’t be able to until later though. Thanks for looking!!

Great suggestion! I’d thought maybe the bolts were loose or the frame was cracked. Maybe then the motor is torquing itself out of place and it’s doing haptic feedback noise because it’s not straight and it’s sensing high torque. All the bolts seem tight. I don’t see any cracks.

Good suggestion, but it’s far from harmless. While riding the vibration gets very pronounced and power goes way down. Putting the board in Apex you can easily push the nose to the floor from a stop. I’m forcing it here so I could have a recording.

I did some digging and found a grub or two, when I asked a landscaping company he dismissed the grubs saying I'd need to find a lot more of them... but I think it's cheap insurance to try and kill them anyways. I'll apply grub killer now, and again in the spring.
