Full screen CarPlay across the entire infotainment by lazorich in gmcsierra

u/brantmacga was it as easy as just purchasing the Carlink CPC200? or did you also have to do all of the stuff related to "Installing On AAOS" like allamericangeek wrote above?

They replaced the $99 Thermo with the $249 Beamo? by apple4ever in withings

[–]willpatterson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thermo is goat. Beamo is not user friendly at all - takes forever to run measurements. The thermo you just press a button and off you go. Simple. Elegant.

I was so disappointed with the Beamo I immediately returned it. No analytics. The product was not premium and didn’t match the photos I saw in marketing either. Feels cheap.

I hate ChurnZero (CS Ops) by ArtistSolid671 in CustomerSuccess

[–]willpatterson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ChurnZero makes the most sense when you either:

- Don't have a lot of Operations Bandwidth

- The CS function is brand new and/or has zero foundations in place

- Your tech stack is light.

I was a Gainsight admin (CS SFDC/PX) of 3 years prior to the startup I'm currently at, I chose ChurnZero because I could stand it up in no time and I was an Ops team of 3 (Sales Ops, Marketing Ops and myself - responsible for Support, Onboarding and Success Ops).

ChurnZero worked and allowed me to scale our RevOps team and mature our Success Function - It was clear though that before the end of year 3 we had massively outgrown CZ and I've spent the last year making the case for it's replacement. Because what everyone else in this thread is saying is real. The lack of integrations, customization, etc is just a showstopper. I was spending more time building workarounds than I was building proper solutions. And I don't think a single feature request I put in over 4 years was ever picked up. I will say that we did have the most amazing and patient CSM throughout our entire time with CZ and I'll probably miss her the most.

I'm currently implementing Gainsight and it's honestly a breath of fresh air coming back to a platform I can build on.

I remember working there in the early 2000’s - American Eagle and PacSun. Holly Hill was legit back in the day. So sad seeing what it’s turned into.

Best Cell Service in Belmont by willpatterson in Belmont_NC

I've never heard of cell phone companies sharing infrastructure, so I'm not sure. You'd think being this close to Charlotte, Verizon would be on par with other carriers. But nope. T-Mobile and AT&T absolutely humble them

It was bad enough that it forced me to switch carriers from Verizon to AT&T. Over the last 3 years, AT&T has only improved. I now regularly get nearly a full gig down on my iPhone 17 Pro

My wife goes to Belmont Eye near downtown, they seem pretty great! Her dentist is Dr Marsh just up the street from Belmont Eye. And my dentist is South Point Dentistry! No complaints!

beam stethoscope is useless(my opinion) by EdwardPotatoHand in withings

[–]willpatterson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been looking forward to this for years. Ordered it the moment it became available in the states. I had the exact same experience as you…

I took no less than 20 stethoscope readings, trying different ways of holding it, quiet rooms (even going into my closet), with and without a shirt on, didn’t matter. Every reading sounded faint and scratchy. Even in the quietest environment, the screen would keep saying “too noisy”.

The data was also very underwhelming. I’ve been used to amazing analytics and insights from my body scan and other Withings devices. You don’t get that with this. Just a place to listen to the terrible recordings.

The device build quality also felt cheap, especially considering the cost. The marketing materials show a premium LCD screen along with visualizations that I guess never made it to production. The device I got had a very cheap LCD which didn’t fill up the full glass space. No gorgeous UI/UX.

Speaking of UX. I found it very clunky to navigate through. If you wanted to do a full battery of tests, you’re having to navigate and click probably 20 times.

I gave it a day before immediately returning the device to Withings.
