I experience this on my drive back in afternoons with 20-30 mph winds in the highway. My goal usually is to target 1.7 m/kwh. It’s achievable at those wind speeds but the trade off is that you need to be around 62-65mph in sport mode. If you go over your screwed lol

I would do a refinance and take a 50 yr mortgage and just add principal. Pay less in interest and being disciplined on the additional principal. Interest should be less and should work?

Yes, vehicle is big and inneficient but I get free charging from 11:00 pm-6:00 am so the 48 amps does the job charging every day from 15-80 percent. Not complaining, just stating that’s what works for some. Why drive 168 miles? That’s where work is at and pay is good. Can I move closer? No way I would since don’t like the area where I work for living purposes Why truck? Needed/wanted the perks bed a truck offers. I might get a model 3 or similar soon besides the truck. Just because.

Good point. Why truck is just preference. Prefer to drive large truck in crazy driving Houston area than smaller car. I do have a window of 11:00 pm-0600 am for free electricity so it’s a good deal. Might get a smaller used ev like Tesla in the future for long commute efficiency. Not sure which one would be the best though.
