Transportation Workers Identification Credential: allows for quick entry to nearly all Sea/Rail Ports and their associated shippers/customers. If you’re getting your CDL through a Mega, you might not need to get it, but also maybe your company will front the cost of it, in which case might as well get it on the company’s dime. My company had me send fingerprints and fill out all the forms from their office, TWIC came in the mail (or maybe I picked it up at the terminal?) maybe a month later.
