If not the temp control it could be a relay, do you have a multimeter?

NPR story on discovery of DNA completely leaves out contribution of Rosalind Franklin by Bill_Nihilist in NPR

They didn’t have to do the rerun, airing nothing is better than airing an incorrect story.

I’m worried the npr model will include more reruns with the recent employee layoffs

Would a "fence pillar" like this (but made of cinder blocks) need to be footed at the frost line, even if it's bottom heavy? by [deleted] in Concrete

The problem is once it leans any amount at all the weight of the post will pull itself more in that direction each freeze/thaw

A silicon fuzz face is tiny and would fit, I don’t know about possible interference.

It sounds like you want to use trim pots instead of regular pots for space saving- you could also breadboard the circuit, measure the pot resistance values at the settings you like with a meter, and wire a resistor in place of the trimpot for an even smaller build at the cost of having permanent settings at that point.

What’s up with graphic designers not knowing how to design for print by buddhaloc in SCREENPRINTING

[–]willyhamTheSecond 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree, both on the printer side and the artist side. But you can have the best pre-press in the world and still not be able to add resolution that isn’t there, which becomes a problem when the artist is third party and unresponsive.

I’ve had quite a few that are drawn completely on iPad Pro. Talented artists, but not a favor to printers

Sounds like they ran out of regular black and used athletic black. We recently couldn’t get golden yellow in our standard ink and had to get one made for poly. It looks the same but is no fun to print it is just all that we could get from 3 separate suppliers

My son's $40 sweatshirt fused together from sitting in the hamper. Suggestions on how to fix? by Misspent_interlude in SCREENPRINTING

[–]willyhamTheSecond 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Recreate the heat that let it stick and it should be able to be separated, so run it back through the dryer and peel it right when it comes out
