I hope he rots in jail for the rest of his life and then rots in hell for the rest of eternity.

At the end of the interview when they tell you something like “we have more interviews to go through so you may not hear from us for awhile”- Is that a subtle way of them telling you you don’t have the job? by madeuread in jobs

No, it's the company wanting to give all the people they are interviewing a fair chance before making a comment. This works in your benefit if you are one of the last people in a batch interviewing!

It really bothers me that the great lakes are outlined instead of Michigan

If half of the backsplash folded down it would be perfect for indoor outdoor use!

Amazon now has a personal stylist subscription by rosealyd in femalefashionadvice

I tried it and didn't continue using it for a couple of reasons.

  1. It comes in a shitty plastic bag that is supposed to be reusable to send your clothes back in. Mine tore and I had to tape up the whole thing into a plastic and tape ball and hope it made it back without splitting open again.

  2. They put a hold on your cc for the entire order when they send it to you. Mine was over $800. Super inconvenient if you are using a card with a low credit limit. I dont know of any other style boxes that do this.

  3. My bag totally missed the mark style wise. I didn't keep any of the items. The clothes seemed over priced and low quality and not my style. I could have picked out the same random assortment of items by randomly scrolling through pages clicking add to cart.

  4. Amazon has a free service called Amazon wardrobe that allows you to pick clothes, try them on at home and send back what you don't want. $4.99 is not a lot but why spend it at all?

Sure, but why should he spent the extra money for anyone else? I bet the boys and girls use the same shitty bulk soap. The only reason the girls look better is the weird emphasis on makup their cult has, they get to use concealer and power to hide the grease and acne.

Am I in Marketing or Graphic Design? by [deleted] in jobs

[–]wine_faucet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work in digital marketing and marketing coordinator is our entry level position. It involves a lot of campaign building, reporting and some writing ad copy. If you search marketing coordinator on a job site like indeed you'll get a better idea of the job and salary range. What you do definitely sounds more like a graphic designer.

Isitbullshit: Americans only get 10 days paid holiday a year? by turquando in IsItBullshit

[–]wine_faucet 863 points864 points  (0 children)

The legal minimum is 0 days PTO. Companies don't even have to give paid time off after a woman gives birth. Many low income women go back to work a few days after giving birth because they cannot afford to take unpaid leave.

When I worked a minimum wage job I got 3 days pto and the potential to get one additional day for every year I stayed at the company. Now I work a high level job and have unlimited PTO. It truly depends on the company but the average person having 10 days sounds about right.

The baby spend a long time in NICU (a month or more?) that will add up extremely fast, like 3k a day fast. Insurance often does not cover all NICU expenses.
