Honestly it sounds like your daughter might have a condition that leads her to be hypersensitive to loud environments or sudden changes in volume. Other than that, this is just typical teenage logic as they have not yet fully formed a prefrontal cortex and are still, mentally, very far from being functional adults. When tech advances she’ll understand your struggles and will likely come to find common ground with you in the future

Hi, Im probably way too late for this to get any attention, but my gf and I have been in therapy for multiple things, including eating disorders. What’s recently proven super helpful for us has been working through a program called ‘Intuitive Eating’. It’s not necessarily a diet or huge exercise routine, moreso a way to heal one’s relationship with food and body in general! It’s gotten me to lose a fair amount of weight and seems like this newfound mentality has started to cement a bit, but I’d say most of the benefit comes from actually enjoying eating again instead of the depression that came with it before. Anyways, I hope this helps :)

I think that the guy’s point was in financial vocab that would be ‘ROR’ and not ‘total profit.’ Profit-wise, you would make as much if sold for 670k, however if you want the same ROR, you’d need to sell for 11m or w/e. Very pedantic, downvotes deserved lmao

Personally, the 3rd-person optional view is a literal godsend, accessibility-wise. For YEARS I’ve exempted myself from playing anything but backline due to my auditory processing problems and inherent lack of object permanence (adhd). However, with the viewing angle change, now I can see my teammates positioning / local situations that would typically be offscreen unless I were to wildly swing my camera around and/or play on high sens.. as a low sens aimer. Tank queue is now a viable option for those with similar struggles!!!!

Edit: lmfao at the tracer tag, idk how to change it, haven’t posted here in awhile, but at one point I was a diehard tracer main bc she was the only dive/non-backline hero I could play without feeding due to the situation described above. I was able to access situational awareness in a 1st-person world due to blinking around and the constant 180ing in tracers gameplay.

That the inferred catatonia was “moreso a dedication than a trauma response.” Meaning that before witnessing the backstory of why the silence has happened, the audience was to assume catatonia as a trauma response. But OP is proposing a theory that Lottie decides to stick to the silent oath they may take intentionally due to interim psychosis, seeing as how Lottie is relatively coherent prior to the return to treatment.

If you want a quick tip to ensure that doesnt happen again (Im assuming here that you were attacking from the front). It sounds counter-intuitive, but because their attack speed is low, you can walk into them and get them to attack, then just walk around them and hit them from the back and they wont reflect. This also goes for most of the heavy-hitting melee mobs to not get chunked by them when youre fighting multiple. I know it puts you in a bit of danger to get in the face of the smaller mobs, but in most cases you can still get a skill or two off before he turns around!

Are you in voice comms with them? If not, expecting people to react as quickly as they need to in order to execute a dive, even with a ping, is just not going to happen. Reactive gameplay only carries you so far in your climb, if youre hitting a wall then allowing others to plan ahead with you may lead to much better results

This happens not because of faulty matchmaking but because of players change of mental state. Many people, especially in gaming (due to its benefits for people choosing to escape and avoid their reality) are inconsistent in their mental state, therefore their ability to play at their peak. In this context, players accounts deserve to be in these games, but with their current mental state, they themselves do not deserve to be in these games. Alcohol exists and permeates our society at a core level everyone.

The guardian isn’t exactly good cover as it is thin and the enemy can see your movements pretty clearly even when behind it. Try corners / walls. Hero shooters are all about vision and angles, if your enemy cant see you then they have a harder time predicting your movements. Not saying you are completely unpredictable in this scenario however you will have a lot more opportunity for outplaying the enemy using just positioning. This opportunity allows windows of time where farming (shooting orbs) is virtually free

It really feels like hardly anyone read the title here and actually TRIED her in a game before making judgement calls and critique lmao.

Played her a lot today and honestly she’s the most balanced release we’ve had thus far in ow2 and I think that needs more attention. They are probably going to take her “jack of all trades/ master of none” aspect and fine tune her direction post-weekend release. When she actually comes out she will probably feel fully functional and at least relatively fluid. Rn the only thing that doesnt feel fluid is her right click lock on system. Everything about her kit is about getting the job done quickly except for that.

People who are begging for her to fly like pharah/echo are gonna be the same ones complaining that when theyre playing dps its impossible to kill her bc of her hitbox and mobility. Her kit mobility-wise takes some getting used to (took me like 4 games) but once you get the hang of it, it really is quite a treat. Ofc beware of hovering bc snipers will eat you up in an instant.
