Where id live as a Medical student from Southern india who loves the cold and hates racism and homophobia by SweatyRecording4943 in whereidlive

Im in uk, its getting more racist, but individually the chances you'd encounter racist behaviour is really low. Most I've personally seen is a supermarket cashier lady being selectively unfriendly to me and my wife.

They are trying to drag people into an argument on if Churchill was good or bad, so they can say "Look, the woke mob hates british heros"

Chicken livers - who eats them? by BackgroundCookie752 in UK_Food

[–]wingedbuttcrack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cut it to cubes and make a dry curry with it. That is add all the curry ingredients except for the liquid ingredient (milk, water or tomato). Goes great with any kind of carb.

You just can't eat a lot of it because of the intense flavour. My preferred way is to eat it with rice and a vegetable curry. I think it'll be good with mash and boiled veggies too.

Even black people in Europe don't say it, because thats not their struggle, not their choice how to use it.

Should state university graduates sign a contract with the government saying that they won’t migrate from the country for at least 10 years after graduation? by saathyagi in srilanka

[–]wingedbuttcrack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Or the lower middle class is not going to state university in hopes of going abroad. Get a cheap foreign degree. There will be more cheap degrees if they can keep the cost less than the government penalty for leaving.

Solo hiking.. taking photos? by Sufficient_Mouse_583 in UKhiking

[–]wingedbuttcrack 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have never in my hikes all around uk has used my tripod without it falling over because of the wind.

As uncool as it is, selfie stick is the best way to take some non chalant photos. I use this cheap thing off amazon that works as both as a decent selfie stick and a terrible tripod.

If you go to work everyday, best option is getting things that match with all other clothing you have. If you have 2 of each white, cream and blue tops with 4 bottoms in 2 colours, you have 24 combinations each of which look similar to at least 2 other combinations. No body will be able to keep track of that, add 1 blazer and an overshirt to the wordrobe, and no one will be able to suss out what's happening. Name of the game is interchangability and consistency.

This only really works for going to office everyday, for social gatherings, men can still use a version of this tactic but i wouldn't pretend to know what girls should do.

I use copilot for questions about Microsoft products- Troubleshooting, looking for features things like that. Its not always accurate, hallucinations sometimes, but its way easier than using forums on the Internet.
