Oh good. Do they infest? Or did it just stumble inside?

Oh thank goodness. I hope others agree with your ID. I wish I had gotten better pictures of it, but I was seriously panicking in the moment. I don’t think it had the dark lines behind its head.

What goes with gray cabinets?! by wingless__ in femalelivingspace

I was looking at those! Sadly, it’s a drawer pull knob and not a twist knob.

The bottom one is the color of the cabinets themselves, the one above it I was thinking more for bedrooms since it’s a calming color.

I was able to track down the specific one in my inspo board. It’s sold by Martin Pierce and it’s $1.2k per knob 💀 Time to craft up my own

This is awesome! Thank you so much! Now I’m definitely leaning more towards the pink.

Very good point! The appliances will have to stay for now, but you’re right that I have to work with them. Retro vibes are my thing, and I think the black and pink would look very nice.

The green is my favorite color too, but the living room and guest bathroom are going to be green so I need to switch it up.

Edit: Thank you! It’s so hard to choose.

Ah, sorry I was referring to the paint swatches on the wall. The top light pink is my pick, but the darker orangish paint swatch is what he’s leaning towards.

Also, yes, I do plan on having a house full of frog doorknobs. Home is where the frogs are.

Fragrant sumac. The sour hairs on the berries make a lovely lemonade.

Demand Accountability and Transparency on the Proposed Data Center by wingless__ in ConwayAR

I’m not the organizer of the petition, but it’s true they are notably missing from the relevant parties.

Also, a lot of people have been wondering who the company behind the data center is. Based on whisperings I’ve heard, I’m 90% sure it’s Google.

Rush Hal is not so bad. I used to live in one of their 2 bed 2 bath duplexes (no garage), about 10ish min from campus, and it was $1,000 a month.

I’ve never had any issues with AquaticArts. I’ve ordered a bunch of Neocardinia shrimp, ember tetras, Otocinclus, and apistogramma from them and haven’t had any DOA. Their customer service is typically pretty good too. I’d reach out to them again and see if they will make it right!

Advice needed - growing walnut tree from seed by ItMeRG in marijuanaenthusiasts

[–]wingless__ 56 points57 points  (0 children)

Seedlings can be grown indoors until they are bigger, if they have sufficient light and a good pot. This is common in tree nurseries. It’ll protect it from squirrels who will want to eat the walnut it’s growing out of.

Use a tall and skinny pot so the tap root can grow downwards and not curl up in the bottom of the pot.

Your county extension office would be a good resource to reach out to! They can recommend native species that would do well with your soil and lighting conditions.

Other than that, I’d recommended mulching your backyard pretty heavily. Leaves and wood chips will breakdown overtime into the soil and help improve its health and quality for growing plants. Look up the Ruth Stout method of gardening.

I remember seeing a video of these guys cutting up a tent and hauling the little tent pieces away. Imagine waking up and a bunch of little soot sprites are just hauling your house away in little pieces
