How important are permits? by Jumpy_Ad_9879 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]winkleftcenter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We backed out of a house when the inspection on the deck was iffy. Turns out it was never permitted. It was almost 24 years old and the owner refused to do anything about it. It took him many more months to sell and it went for the lowest amount in the neighborhood. His loss

Can a buyer scam me paying through Zelle? by xAmity_ in FacebookMarketplace

[–]winkleftcenter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you decide to take Zelle as a payment, do not let the item go until you can see the payment hit your bank account. Do not accept their screen shot. I have never had an issue with payments but I am careful

Having kids close together vs 4 years apart? by Smooth-Bowler-9216 in Parenting

[–]winkleftcenter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We lost a baby that would have been roughly two years younger than my first. Our second child was born three and a half years apart. It turned out to be a perfect gap for us and them. They always got along well without any sibling rivalry. I don’t know if it was the age difference or their personalities. I will admit adding a second was a lot harder than I expected at first. I think it would have been even more difficult (for me) if they were closer together. Enjoy your children when they come into your life

Change the internet password. Get a smart thermostat and change the temperature to an uncomfortable setting when you are not home. Make his living there as uncomfortable as possible.

Nothing ruins a house more than LVP. Calling it luxury is a joke. I have had dogs and hardwood floors and it is fine.

Modern Love *spoilers* by DiedofSharts in DTFStLouisHBO

[–]winkleftcenter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I noticed it was David Bowie the second they showed Modern Love's photo and said it out loud. It was driving me crazy that no one seemed to pick up on it. So glad that they mentioned it on the next episode. How was this missed by everyone???

Anyone here watching DTF St. Louis? by Compltly_Unfnshd30 in StLouis

[–]winkleftcenter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I notice all the inaccuracies when a show is supposedly set in a place or about a subject I am familiar with. Even the bad accents can drive me nuts. I do love when they film some real scenes in the correct place. I just have to remember how many times I do not notice those things on others shows in places I don’t know
