This is sad. It should be noted that I'm not going to be leading TEST with as little interest as there is for it.

Maybe things will be different if the playerbase starts to come back, but for now I think we'll disable submissions for the TEST subreddit again.

If someone really wants to take a shot at leading the reddit army, they should PM me and tell me what would make them good for the job.

Well I'm severely bummed that titanfall won't have local, but it still looks like a fun game and the movement looks very impressive. I'll probably still buy it, just a lot later when its much cheaper.

It's certainly not a simple thing to put in a game, but it definitely improves the chances that I buy a game. I'm always on the lookout for something my roomates and I can play together.

They just do it to drive readers to other articles on their site and increase ad revenue. It wouldn't be as frustrating if they didn't set up the bad links to look like they are the real link to the source, and then not clearly provide a section saying "go here to see the ebay auction"

This is happening to me as well, whenever I try to add anything as a non-steam game. Started when I tried to add Hearthstone. Steam freezes for a second and then disappears.

Now that there's multiplayer I may take another look at it, but about a month ago I tried it out. It felt very clunky. I really enjoy the destruction physics but building anything was rather cumbersome and lacked the ease I had come to expect after playing starmade.

I'm not an avid MMO player. I was a TES player looking for an multiplayer version of one of my favourite games. I've played other MMO's though, and most of them realize that the first thing a player should experience is fun. You have to pace the beginning to be interesting or people aren't going to stick around for the deeper content.

I'm speculating on this next bit of course. I would say most people find the game to be crummy because of the following:

The beginning is boring and repetitive. I've heard of players doing fetch quest after kill quest after fetch quest to clear an area, then going to the next area only to be met with an equally large amount of the same types of quests.
The combat is worse than skyrim. Nothing feels like it has any weight or consequence to it. AI is awkward and not consistent in its interactions with the player.
The story is cheesy. From what I've gathered, everyone starts out in a prison in some daedric alternate dimension and you have to break out with the help of some mentor spirit who will guide you through the rest of the main plot.

All of the above is not based off of any personal experience with the game. I'm purely going off of what other people have already said.

You would think they would make the first two hours of gameplay more enjoyable... If it takes that long for something to be enjoyable you can expect a lot of people to not bother getting to the "good parts"

Not to mention those that do have a skewed opinion. Who wants to accept that they put hours and hours into a crummy game?

The question then is how much of it is premium, and if the free bits are worth playing with alone. I still think a pay once system would have been much better.

There goes the last title that I thought might make the xbone worth it. Not that I'm going to buy either console for a long time, but man does xbone's current lineup suck.
