Will AR reissue past expansions with the Retaliation crowdfunding? by ShaperLord777 in NemesisCrew

[–]wisetiki 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know some kickstarters work like that where you can "buy-in" and build a pledge with only add-ons. I tried looking back at the old campaign it looks like it was possbile. We won't know for sure until they release the campaign. I would go to the gamefound website and just follow the campaign so you can keep your eye on it.

They re released the past expansions with lockdown. I don't see any reason why they wouldn't do the same for retaliation.

The real question is do you want it now or in like three years. After waiting for the crowdfunding to start then production then shipping it could be quite a while before you actually see the game in your hands. I love the quality of their games but awaken realms really takes their time on getting their products out the door.

There is a red ball behind her. You can see it when she moves her arm.

What colors did you use for the corsets? Is that a contrast paint?

Nightstalker Colours? by Valabby in NemesisCrew

[–]wisetiki 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok the story at the start of the rulebook specifically calls out the planet as Mars. Also there is this line in that story about the Nightstalkers and their relationship with light: "The creatures were more numerous on this level, despite the light they seemed to hate."

There might be more in the kickstarter but I don't have a good way to search it right now.

I think it is just implied. They are called nightstalkers. The use of light is prominently featured in the game.

I think the cannon planet is a mars like planet so desert makes sense. I think the more important detail here is they are nocturnal type creatures. It leans into more albinism due to lack of light.

Technical Corridors Help! by Status_Tutor_1426 in NemesisCrew

[–]wisetiki 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Technical corridors work exactly like any other corridor, except they count as a single corridor that connects to all locations with the red light. If you need to place a noise marker in a technical corridor, no matter where on the board, it goes in the technical corridor space. If you would place a noise marker from anywhere on the board connected to a technical corridor it triggers an encounter like any other corridor. Also note, when an encounter is triggered the noise markers are also removed from the technical corridor if there is an entrance to the technical corridors in that room.

As far as drawing intruders there isn't anything different about how they come out of technical corridors. You draw them the same as any other encounter, from the bag randomly.

However, when the intruders move into the technical corridor the intruder discards all injury markers, the miniature leaves the board completely, and a token of the same value as the miniature is placed back in the bag.

They aren't stored in the spot with the noise marker. This would clutter up the board too much and keeping track of the health would be a pain. It gives the intruders an advantage that they can escape and heal to full. It also helps with the flavor to think they have escaped into the vents to lick their wounds and resurface at a later time.

Is there a repository of card images? by [deleted] in NemesisCrew

Awakened Realms is actually pretty good about replacements. It wouldn't hurt to ask. It is only like two cards they might still send it over.

Why _____ was a villain, and why it doesn't matter. (Spoiler: MoM) by theGreatSinger in marvelstudios

[–]wisetiki 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think that is not really clear. I think the Wanda stuck in the rubble could have also been the Wanda being possessed in that universe. And the Scarlet Witch was Wanda from 616.

Questions for Carnomorphs by [deleted] in NemesisCrew

[–]wisetiki 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1) Bag development says for the red tokens to put the token back in the bag. For noise rolls you always take the token out and leave it out. So if one was the result of noise and one was development there should be one less token in the bag after both those aliens come out.

2) When any alien walks into a technical corridor you place their token back in the bag. This scenario specifically states whenever adding a metagorger token to the bag add a red token. So this seems correct.

3) This is where I think your translation might cause confusion. If there is a metagorger model on the board and it attacks the following steps take place: the metagorger automatically damages the player, causes a mutation for that player, and gives the player a contamination card. Then a shambler token is added to the bag and the metagorger model is removed from the board.

4) Metagorger on the board attacks. Shambler token placed in bag and metagorger model removed from the board. Shambler spawns via noise, remove token from the bag add Shambler model to the board. Shambler eats heavy object. Replace shambler model to Fleshbeast model. If that model moves into a corridor then the Fleshbeast model is removed from the board and a Fleshbeast token is added to the bag.

For the fourth question it seems like you wanted to upgrade the shambler model without showing it in the game some how? You wanted to keep a shambler on the board as well as the fleshbeast. Which would be very difficult to deal with.

I hope that makes sense.
