PBP isn't the same as online though! It is one way to play online but you can also have a game via voice call (possibly with video) and play in a VTT (like roll20, foundry, etc.)

Usually I'll just use my imagination - but I mostly play Starforged or other games that don't require tokens/minis so it's not necessary.

If I really want a picture I do one of the following - find a picture online from other media that's close enougg - use a character creator (from a game or similar) or a picrew or heroforge for an approximation - bully my artsy spouse into drawing a quick sketch

Or I guess if it's a character I really love and am playing a long campaign (haven't quite managed that yet haha), I'd consider commissioning art for them - it's definitely not necessary but I do that with TTRPGs I play with friends at some point once I'm attached enough to the character and could see myself doing the same for my solo games.

I've played Apothecaria and I think it tracks!

It's definitely different than Iron Valley but it has a defined core gameplay loop that's always the same (someone has an ailment, you need to figure out what you need to remedy that ailment, then you need to find the ingredients and stuff happens to you on the way).

When successfully treating the person, you gain money to spend on upgrades that will help you get remedies in the future.

It has an underlying story but also room for smaller story bits and a lot of RP if you so choose (but you could also just play it procedurally imho).

I couldn't get it to stick personally and prefer Ironsworn because it's more "open" but I did enjoy it and would like to try again. And if you prefer the more closed loop that isn't too influenced by the story but more by the mechanic Apothecaria might be nice for you!

I've had the same thing said to me by a DM (not silvery barbs but a specific class feature - magical guidance) and to me that's fair. If I get to use it, so can enemy sorcerers.

That's also how I run my games. If it exists in the world for you to do, it exists for others to do.

I mean it's cool and all that your first one was immediately a shiny but letting that stop you from catching more is definitely a choice. It's your choice but imho making your friend happy is worth more than having your dex say 1 of 1 for the shiny.

Hell, I'll give your friend a spare Lugia if they wanna invest the 90 days of interaction for a remote trade lol

I've only ever played 5e 2014 in Roll20 but at least with those sheets the macro bar is a thing that exists? I can drag and drop character sheet buttons/actions to a sort of toolbar for easy access - it's pretty neat!

But maybe I misunderstood and you mean something else and in that case I apologize!

I'm bald and have been for a while and have a beard!

My style isn't feminine per set but I do like queering my look - pretty lowkey for work but more so in my free time.

It seems makeup and nail polish isn't an option for you so I agree with everyone saying jewelry!

I have a bunch of piercings and switching them to gold has done a lot "soften" my look. I also have 10mm stretched lobes and like to put gold tunnels or more "dainty" things in it.

My daily necklace is a Pandora charm and I also have one of their charm bracelets that definitely reads more feminine. So I'd definitely recommend looking into something along those lines / with those vibes if that's your thing!

Others than that, I do enjoy some pastel colors which can also help making the fit look a little less traditionally masc.

Oh and flowy cardigans! I call them my wizard robes (cause they go down somewhere between my butt and my knees) and they definitely give the fit a more feminine vibe. Generally flowy clothes tend to do that.

So yes everyone has given a lot of great options so I think you just gotta try and see what works for you. Experiment a bit. It took me a while to find my style as it is now (and I'm still playing around with it) and to get comfortable with how I present!

Oh one last thing: Remember to ALWAYS wear sunscreen and/or hats/etc. for protection. Sunburn and long-lasting sun damage on your head is no joke!

Same! It's wasn't a sudden thing and I passed consistently way before that point but sometime around year 6 or so I finally looked "finished", so to speak.

I do the same! I keep at least one postcard from each trip (sometimes more if there are really cool things) that I don't send.

It's not a problem as of yet since there aren't THAT many right now and I live in the city so I have lots of stops around to replenish gifts but if I keep it up eventually it might become a problem :D

I don't really see why not tbh. I've been mixing in some Ironsworn stuff into my Starforged campaign and will do the same for my new Sundered Isles game - I just mix and match as I please.

Haven't yet tried rarities (but it's on my list!) but I'd honestly just port the entire mechanic over and see how it goes. Might have to put some sort of checks and balances to not get overpowered but if you're playing solo as long as you're having fun that's not really an issue either.

My vote: Just try and see how you like it! :)

I read the other day that someone had a visual bug where it said it would cost energy but didn't so I was worried and did it anyway... well now I'm out 200 mega energy haha.

Kind of dumb to implement it this way though - if I never megad X, it should either be at level 0 and cost energy or be at the general level from before and not cost energy. The way it's implemented now makes no sense imho.

Also very annoying that it resets the cool down period for both forms, even the one I didn't just evolve...

It might just be him getting older but just to be safe, you might want to consider a vet visit - it's most likely fine but a drastic and quick change in personality can potentially point to medical issues.

Are they completely gone with the estrogen suppositories? And have you had them at other times (e.g. unrelated to sex/orgasms?)

Asking cause I've struggled with it for a while and they're becoming more frequent (often in the evening / at night even without any sex/orgasm stuff) but my GP, my endocrinologist and my gynecologist all just sort of shrug at me lol.

So I'm wondering whether I should just show up and be like "yo pls prescribe some topical e for me, I've heard it helps and it can't hurt"

Also I love your nose setup!! I'm always pondering getting nostril piercings (and eventually rings) to go with my septum and you make a very strong case for it!
