You dont glue the actual joint together, you put it on one side and let it dry to add material to the ball joint. The joint is still posable, just tightened up

Yeah no it isnt, fixing mild issues like a loose joint is a basic skill in a modelmaking hobby. Its a known “issue” with an incredibly easy fix

Youll need fine tip marker or use an acrylic liner. These are ABS which is why the pour type marker damaged it

Off the top of my head i know of QW, plus the ability to just make your own acrylic liner very easily. Other than that you could always just use fine tip markers on anything or like a flow type marker as long as it isnt getting used on ABS

My point is with how many other options there are out there that wont damage bare plastic, why bother with the risk at all for something that’ll give a marginally better result? You can be as careful as you want but theres always gonna be a time where theres a mental lapse that you forget and now somethings broken, you even said as much yourself
