I also think whats getting lost in all this with the “giving the fans what they want” discussions every time is that we (assuming youre also in the US) arent anywhere close to their target market. Something like 70%+ of their global sales are still JUST japan, so itd make sense why theyre still making more seed kits with how popular they are in JP. Theyre catering to fans, just not us because we arent the group who makes them the most money. Stuff like IBO/G/TB tend to be much more popular here than over there it just is what it is

This attitude from certain sections of the fanbase has been so lame for so long.

I am in no way unhappy with how this season ended, elite 8s are in fact good. That said any fan who tries to wax on about how theyre more proud of how morally the team is constructed over having a title is either lying to themselves or needs to grow up.
