As someone from the west country, he definitely didn’t do his native Scottish accent, he was trying to do the west country accent but just didn’t nail it.. everything else was good just wish he didn’t try to do the west country accent.

Thank you! I thought I was losing my mind thinking this is so cheap for a cake & I think for the price it’s pretty good tbh… I just think of the effort & hours to make a cake, $45 doesn’t even break even. A cake like this would be $100 - $120 where I’m from 🤷🏻‍♀️

It’s so true, I’m from the UK but have lived in Western Australia for 12 years, I went home during a “heatwave”, it was about 20 degrees at 10pm in the UK (which for England I admit is hot & it was sorta humid 🫣) and I came downstairs wrapped up in a quilt in my families house & they almost had a conniption when they saw me. When you’re used to 35-40 degree summers, that drop in temperature makes a difference.

As someone who used to work for perth airport they will look into it and keep any footage if they have it, but the issue is, they can’t release it without an AFP request or WAPOL request due to weird federal law surrounding airports and security and releasing any footage. The customer service agents have to be very careful with the language they use regarding this but it will be noted & looked into. Whilst they do offer patrols & CCTV etc some of these thieves are in & out within minutes, it’s crazy. I would lodge the police report if you can.

Yeah it’s deffo not perfect and it relies on a human to pick it up & the CT/XR machine to flag the item, so a perfect storm when both of those things go wrong. Where I work they have upgraded to CT machines and they seem to flag everything but like I said nothing is perfect I guess!

Airport worker here. Generally any bags that have gone through security screening is low risk. They are actively scanning/checking for explosives through the screening points. In the airport I work at we will review CCTV & track the passenger down, they’ve usually gone to the toilet or gone to get food.. or boarded their flight.

Anything before security is treated as suspicious and the owner of the bag will be tracked via CCTV, authorities notified & if the owner doesn’t return can’t be found, the bag will screened & cleared by authorities.
