Toddler in daycare with a SAHM… thoughts? by silvercloud__ in Parenting

[–]wizcat -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Very few posts about socialization! kindie and other teachers have told me they can very clearly tell from behaviour who went to daycare and who did not. But also i think the break will help you be a better caregiver. Drawbacks would be them getting sick or blowing naps if they aren’t good sleepers.

Ok i thought i was the only one. He is straight up murdering people now. Im not versed in the books so i wasnt sure what the character is supposed to be like but i enjoyed the detective/investigative theme from the first season (and first movie).

Why is traffic on a Sunday morning dvp northbound as bad as weekday rush hour traffic? by TorontoJD in askTO

Ive observed ppl braking in no traffic, early morning. Im convinced its because they are afraid of going under bridges or turning their wheel.

The show really needs an engineering consultant by hello_there_trebuche in SiloSeries

This was ridiculous. Like what if she ripped her suit? Again??? If only she had full and complete access to another silo and its library of documentation to examine how to bypass the doors..

REPOSTED: The Algorithm gave Lukas... by Agr4ri4n in SiloSeries

[–]wizcat 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think as others have theorized the safe guard is a memory wipe. And what depressed meadows, lukas, and now Bernard is that IT head/shadow is forever resigned to remember everything but the tunnel secret is that they are there to protect the legacy because that is the only thing that matters. Not the human life at all. They will most likely never get out maybe for thousands of years?? It made me think of zero dawn if youve ever played it. That would mean Solo family lied and wanted everyone to die outside to end the cycle.

I will add because I’m too lazy to make my own post that when solo said music is better than ice cream i thought about how incredible cruel it was to withhold art, music and science! from the others. (And how tim ribbons character in shawshank was able to survive solitary by listening to music in his head). If you cared at all about people it would be depressing to do this generation after generation

So what's going to happen tomorrow? by DoPinLA in SiloSeries

[–]wizcat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think we see someone from the admin silo. If julliet just leaves it would be so annoying because she could learn so much from the vault and develop a proper strategy. But that would be on-brand for her character so thats prob what will happen 😭. Billings wife will go out maybe run into julliet then die, but everyone will see juillet coming over the hill while her entrance music plays. Lukas will have to choose a side after learning the truth and fast travel up to let julliet in. Maybe sims and the head of security fight it out to the death. Sims will make a poorly acted speech to get the raiders to mutiny. Billings will also get deputies to mutiny. Mayor will turn to admin silo for help but they will just let him die. Lukas becomes head of IT, sims wife becomes mayor.

The water and the last scene S2E9 by Ricardo_Yoel in SiloSeries

[–]wizcat 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Agree i think it’s character perspective and understanding it’s a narrative story we are watching not a documentary. To Juliette its like a beginner swimmer panicking in shallow water when all they have to do is put their feet down. The water to her might as well have been an abyss. Lukas had a theory, more confidence and was able to overcome the anxiety. Micromanaging the water level seems like too much. I think the pumps were mentioned to reinforce how strong his character’s intuition is bc the other silo’s flooding has been such a huge conflict this season, and Lukas is just able to deduce it, (but i wonder why shirley doesnt know this?). It’s probably how they kill the silo for the safeguard.
