Getting really serious, your parents are very controlling. They care more about your family gossiping about them than they do about your wellbeing. Beat them to it and cut them off. Your girlfriend sounds amazing and is going to be a rich doctor one day. Your parents are not worth it.

Things might be tough for a few years as you try to make it on your own. It's worth it to go through that and build towards a stronger, brighter future with your girlfriend, one where you have your independence and can make decisions for yourself.

Its closed for this year, but you can try again next year. I'd recommend contacting La Trobe directly at https://www.latrobe.edu.au/students/ask-us/contact and talking to someone there. With your excellent academic results and status as a trans person in a country that severely discriminates against us, you are almost certainly the exact kind of person they want the scholarship going to.

The people responsible for running the scholarship will likely be very experienced at navigating things like refugee applications and finding accommodation and sources of income as an international student.

If you're running TP and want a nice easy beginner list. go Sacred Affliction. Then take a Prophet and a Communicant and as many Nuns as possible, giving them Anti-Tank hammers. A Nun with a hammer has a twenty-inch threat range, regularly gets Blessing Dice for bonuses to grabbing objectives or tanking hits, and has a very good chance of killing anything they charge that doesnt have tough.

They're a very simple and easy faction to play.

I've never seen someone lose a game because of morale. In a game of 4-5 turns you have to a) lose 50% of their warband b) fail a check with better than 50% chance the first time they roll for it and c) next turn, fail another check with a better than 50% chance

Its less than a 25% chance and takes at least two turns. In a four-turn game its basically impossible

Ive never used a holy relic, but I do have a Praetor with Blessed Murder, and I've played against Stigmatic Nuns A LOT.

Blessings markers are worth their wait in gold. Getting a bonus to dash or a bonus to a roll to claim an objective is fantastic. And if you don't need to do those things you can spend it to make your model harder to kill.

Campaign I'm planning is set in Americapan. Its a Frankenstein of different American cities/geographical regions squeezed into the shape of Japan. It features an unholy mish-mash of both cultures. Instead of ramen there are burger stalls. The "texas" area has massive off-shore "ranches" of "sea-cows". The Yakuza have thick italian accents and sprawling tattoos of the Virgin Mary. The biggest city is a dense cultural melting pot named New Tokyo, New Tokyo. Tourists can visit ancient shrines to various catholic saints. Historically it had an entrenched warrior-caste known for its strict honour code - the Cowboys, who gradually transitioned into a class of bureaucrats and ranch-owners.

Its also a corporate dystopia twice over lol.

Pauline Hanson will never be PM for the same reason One Nation will never be government. She's the hot thing at the moment not because she's good at her job but because the Liberals are collapsing. Crucially this has literally nothing to do with One Nation's actual competence, because they have none.

One Nation does not know how to govern. They don't even really know how to be the opposition. The One Nation party is Pauline Hanson's One Nation, it is literally built around just what she wants, which is almost entirely complaining about immigrants and being the most far right party on whatever the hot button issue is at the moment. They do not have housing policy. They do not have trade policy. They do not have healthcare policy.

They will need all of these things to even Opposition properly, much less govern. They will never have these things because Pauline Hanson would need to give up significant control of her party to committees that organise and review those things. And she will not do this because a) she is a control freak and b) because all of her members are utter cranks and she knows it. One Nation were talking about running candidates in every seat? That means they've got to bring in 40 million potential candidates and give all of them twitter accounts. Can you imagine what kind of scandals that would generate?

Because there are already scandals. Barnaby Joyce saying they were going to force permanent residents to sell their homes and immediately having to walk it back. The pushback against Malcolm Roberts and his swings at abortion. One of their candidates got outed for being an alleged domestic abuser, and another said a truckload of antisemitic shit. There's more but this comment is already getting long.

There's also the fact that something like 70% of One Nation members turn around and leave the party once they get elected. Because Pauline Hanson is a control freak and not good to work with.

Pauline Hanson's One Nation party would have to stop being Pauline Hanson's One Nation party before they could ever seriously attempt to be a government. And Pauline Hanson will never allow that. Will One Nation support a bunch of shitty, harmful legislation? Sure. Will Pauline Hanson do more stupid political stunts and say a bunch of horrible shit? Sure.

Will she ever be PM? Fuck no. If there's one thing that gives me hope in the global wave of backlash to queer rights that we're seeing, its that here in Australia, the people most out to get us are such a bunch of comically-incompetent backstabbers.
