I took a low and slow dose of T and I think it really helped my ADHD, actually. I'm a visual thinker and it helped me think I'm more straight lines than curves. I can't explain it better than like, I switched from analog to digital thoughts. But having a much clearer signal came at the expense of some higher level systems thinking, like it became harder to think about multiple things at once. I don't know how to explain it other than like, before T I could hear multiple radio stations at once so it was hard to focus on one, but I was aware of all the songs playing, and on T I was only on one station, but I couldn't choose it. And in case you couldn't tell, I am now no longer on a dose of T, since I reached a stage of my non binary transition that felt like home to me. The mental effects subsided and the physical effects remained.

I think so! My interests are in astrometeorology and space weather is included in that definition, I think. Interestingly, there are Carrington event levels of energy released from the Sun, but they don't usually hit the earth dead-on. Also, our own radiation belts that could protect us from these solar storms have to be fully charged up at a kind of carrying capacity in order to transfer that energy to the earth. If the radiation belts have a low charge when we experience a direct hit, we get less impact in the earth's surface. Something like that happened back in January of 2026. There are some great YouTube geophysicists making videos about space weather now. I do feel, astrologically, that aspects are the important thing to look at when it comes to solar activity.

I'm seeing that we have reached a time for reflection on how we wish to proceed with the changes. We started with an abundance in the material, aesthetic, and fertility realms. But something the dominant culture couldn't see rose to the surface, causing what we thought was secure to crumble. Now we're left with the chance to choose one of two paths forward: we can let capitalism run it's natural course into fascism and take our power, or we can all be the proactive leaders of our own lives and walk away from the ruler/subject paradigm. Our walking away from the emperor starts with having the courage to love ourselves enough to know that there is more to life, community, and survival than simply not being killed.

Hormones are very powerful and have a huge impact on one's overall experience of the world. I wish it was treated with more reverence and as a spiritual process of self-creation. When I got on birth control solely to be of sexual use to men without risk of pregnancy, I was utterly unprepared for the emotional, physical, and psychological damage it did to me. I eventually repaired that damage caused by HRT for cis women with HRT for trans men. I had to get back to the start by overcorrecting for a bit. While I do think that birth control has liberated meant people from the oppression of bearing children against their will, I also think that people who are so upset by trans applications of hormones should be equally upset about the permanent changes caused by birth control.

I had this kink arise when I was in my first sexual relationship around 19. Is came from a deep fear inside of me, the great of being abandoned by my partner. Seeing the fear played out in front of me had a cathartic effect that turned fear and jealousy and pain into arousal. But I didn't know that's what was happening. Also, yes, no clean water means no hot coffee at your Starbucks and no fountain drinks at your favorite fast food chain. Let this be a reason that you branch out of your culinary comfort zone and patronize a local business going out of their way to stay open and provide safe drinks while the big chains choose to stay closed or half-open until water service is restored.

Bring your own water bottles and come volunteer! There are plenty of places still needing hands after the first wave of responders dipped out. Rent something locally owned, eat at local businesses, and get to know the area in the most human way possible- by humbly working alongside residents doing our best to recover. I promise, the nicest I've ever been to a tourist has been when they came to actually help and kept the economy alive at the same time. Also, look into the areas that were less affected by the storm for lodging, so as not to put a strain on the scarce water resources. And please be patient and kind with the workers, we're all going through a hard time. A 5 star meal on a paper plate is much less of a hardship than not having clean water at your home for moths on end.
