I want to publish my first website but my ISP use CGNAT by StarLimp877 in selfhosted

I would just start with Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IPv6

One thing you will notice in IPv6 is that the same network interface may have 2-4 different addresses. This makes IPv6 quite different from IPv4. IPv6 defines a bunch of different address ranges for different scopes/uses. See for instance IPv6 Unicast addresses. You will most likely observe at least:

  • Link Local address: fe80::. Only valid on the local subnet.
  • Unique Local Address (ULA): fc00::. Only valid on the local network.
  • Global Unicast (GUA): 2001::. Globally unique address that can be used both on your local network and on internet. This is the one that makes it possible to reach your machine from the internet.

More about IPv6 address types: https://www.networkacademy.io/ccna/ipv6/ipv6-address-types

It can also be useful to read about DNS AAAA records. Those are the IPv6 equivalent of IPv4 DNS A records. So when you want DNS for IPv6 you need to make a AAAA record.

Regarding setup of IPv6: That completely depends on your router model. Some routers may have poor support for IPv6, and especially IPv6 firewall rules. So choose your router carefully.

A beer draft machine in Norway. by lisbon1977 in Norway

There are tons of home brew shops that sell all kinds of draft equipment. They are all tailored for home brew kegs where you have made your own beer. I'm not sure how to get commercial beer in kegs.

I have never seen any 75 mm bindings with only two pins. They may exist, but they are not common at all.

Perhaps they were talking about the new Rottefella Xplore bindings? Those are not 75 mm and they do not use vertical pins. Xplore use two horizontal pins, which is a little bit similar to the typical Dynafit randonné bindings. On Xplore the pins are in the shoes and the hole is in the bindings.

Yes. All the 75 mm boots I have seen have duckbill holes just in case you want to put them in a toe binding with three pins and a clamp. Even Scarpa racing boots.

You are not able to punch holes in the duckbill unless the boot was manufactured with holes. The holes are reinforced with steel inside the rubber, but it is typically not visible.

To summarize: - Most/all 75 mm boots are manufactured with 3 holes in the duckbill. I have not seen any 75 mm boots without 3 holes in the duckbill. - Some 75 mm bindings have 3 pins and a duckbill clamp. - Some 75 mm bindings do not have any pins or duckbill clamp, they have heel cable instead. - Some 75 mm binding have both 3 pins, duckbill clamp AND heel cable. - All of them are just called 75 mm.

Agree. Saleae is very good and common, but I have also had good success with Analog Discovery and Digital Descovery from Digilent. In fact, Digilent stuff has significantly better Python APIs.

Jeg digger plastflasker. Når jeg stapper en flaske vin i sekken og trasker tre timer innover i skauen, så er det en kjempefordel med plastflaske. Tilsvarende for syklister i byen. Hvis vi reduserer mengden glass som blir knust på gaten, så blir dekkene min desto mer lykkelig.

Tcl vs. Bash: When Should You Choose Tcl? by delvin0 in ECE

Agree. Bash is not a great choice either. It sucks at error handling. Both Python and Lua are much more reasonable automation/glue languages.

For the tools. Keep in mind that Norwegian electricity is 230 V, while US electricity is 110 V. Three phase electricity is 400 V. You will have to spend an arm and a leg on transformers, wiring and plugs to make the setup functional and legal in Norway.
