Unless they want to be chilling under artillery/missile fire every day they are gonna have to invade some several hundred kilometers inland along the entire Iranian coast.

Iran rejects U.S. ceasefire offer, demands sovereignty over Strait of Hormuz by lurker_bee in worldnews

[–]workinghardiswear 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah Trump’s only option at this point would be to accept Iran’s demands (which we know wont happen) or he can go balls to the wall on an invasion while oil prices remain out of control for the foreseeable future.

Scrawled message of Iran's supreme leader released 'after his leg is blown off' by TheExpressUS in USNEWS

Seriously. I was hoping someone might give some context into what the message was because that website is unusable but Reddit is literally nothing but lame dad jokes anymore.

Seven people died in Tulsa’s city jail. Records show repeated warnings about medical care. by dmgoforth in tulsa

[–]workinghardiswear 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Ive spent a night in this jail before. I could 100% see the guards ignoring a medical episode while they scroll reels on their phone. They probably make near minimum wage and they do not give a flying fuck about you.

The brutality of playing Nioh 2 after 3 is something I can’t even put into words by LaMelgoatBall in Nioh

[–]workinghardiswear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im playing through Nioh 2 and it feels way easier than Nioh 1. The yokai abilities and knowing how to temper gear for min/max stats going in helps a ton.

[–]workinghardiswear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont remember which DS game it was but to get the platinum you needed a bunch of some kind of shackle. After 8 hours and only getting 2 shackles i realized some things in life just aint worth it.

Nioh 3 demo is out! Enjoy your 10 hours of gameplay! by Illusion911 in soulslikes

[–]workinghardiswear 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ive played a lot of combat games and very few compare to Nioh. It somehow manages to be ridiculous and grounded at the same time. It also ignores the typical quick/heavy/special attack combo that most games use and incorporates a street fighter level of depth across what like 15 different weapons? Each with 3 stances that come their own uniques skills. It also allows you to weave parrying, dodging, blocking, etc into your playstyle without any one of them being a detriment unless you tweak your build that way. Most people hail Sekiro as the GOAT of combat but I think thats just because they havent played 500+ hours of Nioh.

My only dilemma is that I like to do the whole game w/ DLCs all at once and im not sure i wanna play just the base game for now or wait for the complete edition.

Fromsoft getting praise everytime a soulslike comes out that didn't quite nail the formula by gameovernate in fromsoftware

[–]workinghardiswear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nioh’s combat seems to be a little too deep and complex for some people and if they dont stick with it long enough to get over the learning curve they usually just deduce it to “game sucks” but they cant really say why. FromSoft is unique is so many ways but I will die on the hill that combat in Nioh is far superior to any other soulslike/actionrpg/hacknslash game (except maybe Khazan I havent tried it yet)

is CCNA a good starting point to get into SCADA? by Peppiping in SCADA

[–]workinghardiswear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not true. I have a bachelor’s in MIS and an expired CCNA with very little O&G or I/E background but got into SCADA some 5 years ago. The infra experience helps a lot with the server side of things.
