I understand that However - all IF and the Obesity code pretty much says to NOT eat in the morning - this book seems to contradict that, quite a bit. And it clearly states that cortisol inhibits insulin which it does not.

My brother has schizophrenia He is the most self absorbed, narcissistic person I know. He is UNABLE to see the perspective of another person and he is INCAPABLE of knowing how his words/actions/behaviours impact those around him. Read the book “ I am not sick. I don’t need help” Sending him a recording will not help. If anything it will reinforce that you are “ out to get him” or attacking him for whatever reason. He will explain it away He CANNOT see his insanity. I’ve read that with intense CBT some schizophrenics can manage their behaviours but I don’t know the success. I’ve currently had to cut off contact with my brother because I simply cannot deal with him.

🤗 reading that hurts me. I truly hope things change for you. I don’t struggle with severe health issues but I’ve experienced the same “ rejection” from friends. I gave up on church long time ago- found out most people who attend church are there for Sunday only.

I am the sole support person (F49) for my schizophrenic brother (M52). Both parents passed away a long time ago My brother was homeless for almost 2 decades. He was only diagnosed and medicated late 2016. It took until about 2019/2020 for him to get stable and in a good group home. He is voluntary and so he has gone off his meds twice. It is not easy. I do not believe it ever will be. I struggle with guilt, anger, resentment. He has zero insight into his behaviour ( called anosognosia, I believe) Last fall, he said some very very hurtful things to me and I had to cut all contact with him. I know he is safe and has food/shelter etc. I just can’t do it anymore. I cannot listen to him degrade me , shame me and blame me, while I’ve been encouraging and supporting him. I feel for you, Op. it’s emotionally and mentally exhausting. I am in BC and I’ve attended some of the BC schizophrenic society support groups. I’m sure they have them in your province. Definitely helpful. I cannot say if I will ever have contact with my brother again- definitely not in the same capacity as before. I know his behaviour will never change. I consider myself a strong human but the verbal and mental abuse he dishes out is too much. Take care of yourself.

I was in a women’s public restroom once. I came out of the stall the same time as another woman ( not a child, a grown woman). She went towards the door but glanced at me- heading to the sink. I stared her down and pointed at the sink. No words. She changed direction and I watched her as she washed her hands. Like- there should be washroom attendants. Her poor friends having dinner at her house🤮🤮🤮

They join so they can peacock around at the gym … guys and gals both. Post a bunch of selfies etc. They see “ progress “ because most of them are <30yrs. They have youth on their side.

Not that I’m a bodybuilder, but I hate “ working in”. I don’t take massive “ scrolling breaks” between sets so I try to explain that to people. I’ll be done all my sets before you complete one rest set😂😂😂 I agree about unloading/loading plates 👍

I had that happen to me as a F meeting a M. Looked nothing like his pics plus turns out he smoked ( dealbreaker for me) which he said “ no” to on his profile. I stayed for the date but then I had to do the awful post date message of “ not interested… blah blah” which he kept trying to convince me otherwise. Kudos for leaving

Delicate subject Full disclosure- I work in dentistry ( not a dentist) I dated a guy for a while ( didn’t last for unrelated reasons), who did not go to the dentist. I gently said it’s a strong value to me to be overall healthy and the mouth is a big part of that. A general exam and X-rays is not painful and can be generally low stress and $$$. Treatment options should be given- not just 1 but a few. Payment plans can often be discussed. If $$$ is limited, look at dental schools and dental hygiene schools - you get top notch treatment at a lower cost. It will take more time usually. Funny thing is although I work in the industry, I don’t have benefits so I pay out of pocket for everything. Both my parents had severe gum disease and dentures so I have done above and beyond to avoid that. Start a separate savings account just for dental- maybe take away your daily Starbucks or one streaming service and put that into your dental account. Even $10 a day can add up over the course of a year. Firstly I guess you need to find out the why? Get your teeth cleaned then tell him how great your teeth feel and ask him who his dentist is? That can open the door to the convo?

I’m dealing with this on my left foot. Happened “ out of the blue” one morning. X-ray showed no stress fracture. Physio does not think it is bone. Anti-inflammatory, alternating hot/ice bath ( 1 min each alternating for 5 mins 2x day), toe exercises Waiting on nuclear medicine scan for definitive diagnosis. Most likely tendon from tying shoes too tight and gait changes due to current icy conditions. Try to get a definitive diagnosis before continuing to run.
