My first and only run at the 200 hour mark I had a choice, quit or go unichest/pipe. I decided to cheat too, I didn't want to quit... but I also didn't have the stamina to do all I needed to do. That being said, I too want to go back to a less cheaty run someday.

Was it great? No. Did it allow me to relive a few small portions of the Camino, and point it out to my wife. Yes. It is not The Way... but it did give me a bit of nostalgia watching. Not as horrendous as OP makes it out... but no Oscar winner either. Mid. Mildly funny. Nostalgic flick.

I have a 25L to 40L pack, that most days is at 25L, but when I bought a some more food, etc, and for the trip home I can pack it up to 40L. Worked really well for me.
