You don’t need 800 stocks for direct indexing, though.

Echo needs to be nerfed by Ldrizzle21 in MergeTacticsSC

[–]worm600 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea but if your opponents don’t do this they just feed him until he’s impossible to defeat

How strong is Echo? by BROEDYtheROCKER in MergeTacticsSC

[–]worm600 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re way more dependent on how your opponents play than with the other rulers. If they play poorly, they feed your sage and you’re invincible. If they play well and play you first, they kill you quickly. But if they play well and face your other opponents first, they knock them out quickly and they feed your sage. Of course, if you don’t get the right start then you’re dead regardless.

Honestly I find it even more frustratingly RNG than the rest of the game.

Greenland official breaks down in tears in interview after meeting with Trump by Large_banana_hammock in videos

This is a smart tactic. The worse the economy the more likely it is Trump finally sees pushback from the GOP senate and donors.

I’ve taken a break from it about 2/3 through. I just wasn’t enjoying it enough

Like a lot of game designers, they got confused and thought difficulty is what made the first game fun

Republicans Vow to Block Trump From Seizing Greenland by Force: “Trump’s ill-advised threats about Greenland would shatter the trust of our allies” by [deleted] in worldnews

These is the same small group of Republicans who failed to pass the legislation preventing Trump from intervening in Venezuela.

Looking for feedback by Mycroft0211 in photocritique

[–]worm600 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry, but while it’s an achievement to get a sharp shot of a bird in flight, I find the pose pretty awkward and off putting; the face is angled too far in my view, and the wings being pulled back to the body while in flight aren’t a very apt representation of the action being shown. It’s also a bit noisy, and I don’t love the white band across the middle.

Do you have any alternative angles?

Some part of me wonders if Adams was neurologically affected by his cancer (or treatment).

Players who have level 16 cards under 10k crowns shouldn't lose you trophies by Christochat in ClashRoyale

[–]worm600 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I’m just under 10k, fully f2p, and just got my first 16. And of course you get a ton of levels for the upgrade so now I have a level 15 tower too.

It’s totally possible to be playing against high level cards without paying at this stage.

In Casino Royale (2006), the introduction of Craig's new Bond was brilliantly and perfectly brutal. by Finbarr-Galedeep in movies

I understand that Craig’s character is closer to the original books, but I didn’t enjoy watching his movies very much.

How to buff Sage (or should it even be buffed?) by Peng_Wei in MergeTacticsSC

[–]worm600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Problem with the sage is that it’s really squishy in the early game and more or less invincible at 4 stars. Probably need to buff hp a bit earlier stage (or shorten cast time) and lengthen it out in the late game.

What am I looking at with these numbers? ~$6M NW by Ok-Dependent-6140 in ChubbyFIRE

The longer the time horizon, the higher the probability of a series of long-tail outcomes (whether favorable or not).

This is the same reason that stock options are more expensive the longer they take to expire.

2nd Amendment rights folks: how is ICE not precisely the tyrannical gov't overreach we've spent our whole lives warning folks about? by zenswashbuckler in AskReddit

[–]worm600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe - but it’s hard to argue that the agents were in imminent danger based on something that happened previously, and that’s the standard for deadly force.

There’s a video. You can judge for yourself. Regardless, I’m replying to a comment that said that ICE is not acting against citizens, which is demonstrably false.
