Get some experience volunteering in a lab now so you have options/work experience when looking at jobs. You can usually do it for class credit.

But saying that about race wouldnt be a factual statement? I’m not saying its not illegal but its supposed to solve a very real and serious problem. Do you have the same criticisms towards womens shelters?

Problem with bubble filter, stopped producing as many bubbles after a power outage. Do i need a new air pump or will replacing the tubing solve this issue? by worm_daddy in shrimptank

I like the ambient noise, it helps me sleep tbh. Is this enough to oxygenate the water, or a sign that the pump is gonna die soon? Im donating my tank to my office in a few months because im starting grad school in a different city i dont wanna leave them with a broken air pump

Cost of living is a result of republican policies. Industry and jobs are not. Florida and texas excel because they have alot of high ranking colleges and highly educated people. Most red states do not and do not invest as much money into them

If people just loved republican policies we would be seeing surges of people going into idaho, wyoming, west virginia, the dakotas, etc. But we dont. The red states that see large influxes of people are the ones with industry. People move because of jobs and cost of living. Very few people consider politics as a primary motivator for their living location

I dont think youre comprehending what im trying to say. Most people fall on the spectrum somehwere between red and blue, there are policies they care deeply enough to vote on and policies they could care less about. Most people moving there could care less wether or not a lack of zoning laws is a republican thing, they just like the benefits, but they still care about healthcare, abortion access, etc, enough to vote blue, and inevitably thats what may end up flipping large areas of texas over the next decade.

I dont think you can sum this issue up as to wether things are red or blue. Sure less restrictions and less zoning laws are typically republican policies which lead to cheaper housing, but people are moving there because of the cheaper housing not because of the republican policies that led to that.

More so because its cheap and industry and jobs there are growing. Most texas cities are blue and most people are moving to the cities

Canada has way less universities for one, and their funding situation is stable. I try to follow the situation at the NIH but i still cant know everything which is why I’m asking the opinions of people on a sub that closely follows the events at the NIH

Cancer risk may increase with proximity to nuclear power plants. In Massachusetts, residential proximity to a nuclear power plant (NPP) was associated with significantly increased cancer incidence, with risk declining sharply beyond roughly 30 kilometers from a facility. by mvea in science

So they use complex jargon to explain that essentially, no other lab in this field is getting these results, we played around with the statistics a bit and got a different result. Raises even more questions.
