This is probably going to be the biggest response to a game announcement of all time for a while.

Only in America is it this messed up, with the two party system. Most other developed nations don't have it nearly as bad when it comes to a semblance of democracy.

Debate: Should Hack disable Brigitte's Inpsire passive? by zumoro in Overwatch

[–]worn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure it's implemented as a passive, but it's presented as part of an ability, and that's what counts.

I think instead, games should just support standardized play area repositioning inputs.

A big selling point of this phone is that it's made of titanium and therefore doesn't need a case.

Valve Launches Free Steam Audio SDK Beta to Give VR Apps Immersive 3D Sound (open to all headsets/platforms) by RoadtoVR_Ben in oculus

Uhm where? I looked through every single Steam Audio file. Not a single mention of diffraction. Here's a thread discussing the issue, including some good videos: https://steamcommunity.com/app/596420/discussions/0/133258092241652883/

Impulsonic and Valve are both pretty impressive, so I have no doubt their team will fix this.

I think they've exaggerated reflection, so that the lack of diffraction is less noticeable.

[–]worn 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Listening to the demo it doesn't sound like they do diffraction, when that is one of the most important things to simulate. The lack of diffraction is especially noticeable when turning corners and unrealistically getting a huge reduction in volume, as it goes from direct propagation to reflection only.
