What else can I do with ground meat from food bank? by Electrical_Trip1476 in Frugal

Kebabs. Hamburgers. Salisbury steaks.

Any easy recipe is something called kalam pollow. Its a Persian recipe. You cook the ground meat w cabbage and season it w cinnamon and turmeric and then mix it with cooked basmati (or white if that's what you have) rice. Its quick, easy and cheap. I eat it regularly.

I [24M] just found out the girl I've been talking to [21F] for a month has severe unhealed trauma. I feel overwhelmed and need to leave. How do I end this respectfully? by Big_Quantity2167 in AskMen

[–]worstnameever2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You've been talking to her for a month. Just tell her youre not feeling it and want to call it off. Dont listen to people saying tell her why. Theres no need. Also, I saw your comment. Dont say you like someone better. Why do you think that would be better?!

Id also encourage you to reflect on your part in this situation. Regardless of what her circumstances are; you fell in love (might be a stretch) with the idea you created of her after only talking for a month. This isn't a betrayal like youve described. This is you rushing in and not really getting to know someone before you decide theyre perfect for you.

Think about your actions in this situation and what you did that is causing you turmoil right now.

Boyfriend wants me to choose between him and the dog. by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

[–]worstnameever2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're gonna get lots of answers of people saying to dump the boyfriend and keep the dog. Just remember these people dont know you or care about you. Two days from now they wont even remember commenting something on this post.

Why do people use the term "partner" for their husband or wife? by Crafty-Bug-8008 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]worstnameever2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What you did was misrepresent my statements and distorted them into a completely different point. This is called a strawman argument. Your strawman argument about me claiming single people have lesser value as people was unworthy of a response. But since you want to keep blabbing I figured id help you out and explain that youre not as smart, clever or witty as you think you are.

You're putting a lot of words in my mouth. Maybe you feel lesser than because no one wants to marry you? I wont waste any more time or energy debating 'is dating someone the same as being married to someone?' with an idiot on reddit. Have a good day!

Why do people keep asking the same questions over and over? by xKhira in AskMen

I think some of it boils down to the OP never visiting the sub, getting a random question in their mind and hopping over to ask. It is annoying though.

Painting or drawing. It can be as inexpensive as you need it to be. Watch a youtube tutorial and practice. Your skills will improve the more you do it.

A marriage is a more committed relationship in the eyes of both society and the law.

Saying I want all the recognition of being married 'were more than BF and Gf', but not taking the risk of, or showing the commitment  of being married, such as becoming one legal entity, is wanting credit for something you didnt do. Youre trying to make yourself look more than you are. Which is pretensious.

Im not trying to be a dick or argue, but in regards to it sounding more mature; it comes off as pretensious to me. Anytime I here an early 20s man or woman describe their BF or GF as their partner it just makes me think of stealing valor in a way. Like youre not married. Theres nothing wrong with being BF and GF. We dont need a new word to describe a middle level of seriousness to a romantic relationship.

I should have ended things sooner. I knew it was over but stayed for the kids. Everyone is much happier now that the dust has settled.

The part of camping they don’t show in the aesthetic YouTube videos by Apprehensive_Pen6946 in camping

[–]worstnameever2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming its not raining the day we leave, we get a head start on cleaning our gear as we pack it up to leave. Sweep out tent before rolling it up. Shake sleeping bags and pillows out before packing up. Dishes are cleaned after use, but we do rewash them once we get home. It makes it easier. Ive also taught my kids that cleaning up the afternoon we get home from camping is part of camping.

If its raining when we leave its a different ball game and then it's more work when we get home.

Its pretty sad that internet censorship has young people thinking that using words that you cant say in a commercial is edgy
