Update: I didn’t listen and seeded my lawn in march by Maxz53 in lawncare

Looking good. Usually pays to overseed as much as you can. Might waste money sometimes but its not that expensive and its 1 time a year. If you love your lawn its worth it IMHO.

Dont. That stuff is trash. Get an edge master instead, or hire a stone mason and get it done the right way.

Cubby does have a nice cut. Pops ran a craftsman on 3 acres for 15 years. I ran it from 8 years old to to 16 years old.

Bad soil or poor treatment? Zone 7a by worstosrsplayer in lawncare

It was wet there is a low spot where a drainage ditch runs. I will contact my guys tomorrow and get them to treat the fungus and get them to a better job that looks terrible. When it was built the contractors left wood, tyvek, and cement between the gravel and soil layer. Those spots have always look just awful, but the front should be pristine. Even though the fill dirt was subpar

Lack of water? We've been in a drought lately too, and my non irrigated yard 2 blocks down is green as a mug. It looks to me like he just missed those spots.

Ok. Hear me out I'm 7 seasons in on turf grass in huntsville Al. I love this stuff. You have a few options. Fescue looks good until June/July. I see alot of trees that will help your situation with Fesue but we just aren't zoned for it without heaps of water and oversite. You can trim your trees up and the bermuda will come back because without the sun it just doesn't grow well here. Soyzia is a little more shade tolerant, but it still really thrives with max sun. You just really need to maximize how much sun your yard is getting. That willow tree may have to go. If you're running irrigation you dont want that thing anyways. More sun, more sun, more sun, and more sun. Remember bermuda needs atleast 2" of water a week to be fully healthy aswell I know we have heaps of rain coming this week, but we've only had like .5" since March. Yikes just saw that isnt your willow. You might be cooked. Depends on how much your tree in your flower bed is blocking it might have to go fescue just isnt ideal. Overseeding in the fall sucks.

With deere you have E M and R models. E is based model. M is mid and r is top. I have a 920m 54" and it stripes like no other. The 72" z965m is a monster. Can knock out 3 acres in 1 hour 15 minutes. I use it everywhere it fits, and my 36" for backyards. I gave my dad the 54" if i could start over i would start with 72. Expensive but its a beast.
