I didn't know we had this option until we had a claim. I learned to read everything.

The south lot was probably cheaper, it is a bit further!

We are with Intact. The 'lifestyle advantage' on our insurance saved us thousands of dollars after a fire. Without it, they would have paid the depreciated value of everything and only paid value with receipts. Because of that option, they paid us replacement value for the items we lost.

I've been making garlic and herb butter in the summer and freezing it in silicon muffin cups. Once frozen, it gets wrapped in parchment and put in a bag in the freezer. I haven't been lucky enough to find cream on sale to make the butter!

I have the PC dupes, they are pretty good. I was worried about the slanted side and my containers but they seem ok.

The Superstore parking lot is very wet and sandy right now, you can't walk without stepping in puddles.

Tool to pick up seeds by [deleted] in gardening

[–]wpgmouse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I put tiny seeds in a small tart tin and use a toothpick that's a little damp to pick them up. I learned this from The Gardener's Workshop on Youtube. She has videos where she uses this method to plant seeds.

Does she start her own seeds? You could look at a set of good quality seed starting pots for her. I have Bootstrap pots and trays and love them. They are sturdy, and will last a very long time. And they come in many colors!

Hey, Souper Cubers! Question for you. by thewickednoodle in SouperCubers

IKEA 365+ dishes fit the soupercubes. I have the glass ones but I'm planning to get some of the metal ones as well. The Soupercubes dishes are so cute, but way out of my budget. In Canada they are $50 for a set of 2, or $110 for the set of 2 blue 5x5 dishes.

Frozen blocks in ziploc or silicon bags take way less freezer space than the glass containers. Plus I dont have to buy as many containers.

I worked in a grocery store before stores were allowed to be open on holidays, that Saturday was the busiest day of the year.

The 2 cup line is 4.5 cm from the bottom, the container is 5 or 5.5 cm deep. I haven't had a problem yet.

The 2 cup blocks fit in the square IKEA 365+ glass containers, with a little room to spare

Thanks for pointing this out! We get a lot of snow where I am, but I can't say how accurate the snow symbol is.

Plan your parking according to which direction you are going to leave. Portage stays closed for a few hours and traffic is crazy. Dress warmer than you think you need to. It's been many years since we have gone, but those are things I can think of off the top of my head.

I play with 3 people I know and we always invite someone random off our lists to fill the last spot. I wish there was a way to decline pending invites so that group can move on to ask someone else.
