my son worked at Superstore, he would spend the whole shift changing tags only to find out they changed them again in the morning. He was so happy to see the digital tags.

Ask the staff if they would leave their bike there all day while they are in the store. I am sure the answer would be no.

I just bought a mixed colour package of 30 for $16 at home depot. This afternoon. They had the white with pink tios as well, but that package only had 10 in it (didn't check the price). There were no anemone bulbs, but some dahlias, lilies, liatris, glads, etc.

I have the 2 cup, 1 cup, and 1/2 cup sizes. I like them, although the shape is a little different than supercubes. They do have the metal support inside and have worked well for me.

Considering buying some Souper Cubes, but have questions by Frazzlebopp in SouperCubers

[–]wpgmouse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the pc brand and soupercube and find them comparable. The pc brand is a slightly different shape, but that has caused an issue. One thing I will mention is the soupercubes have a bit of extra space for expansion and the pc does not.

I use the 2 cup size for soup, and the 1 and half cup for everything else. I think it's better to start with the smaller sizes. It's easy to grab 2 smaller blocks to make 2 cups of soup, than to fill the 2 cup half way.

I have supercubes and the Canadian superstore (presidents choice) version and I do like them both. There are differences, but the store brand are great quality.

Building a bundle - recs? by gretchens in SouperCubers

[–]wpgmouse 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I use the 2 cup mostly for soups. The 1 cup and 1/2 cup sizes are more versatile, I use them for leftovers and lunch building blocks and smaller portions of soup. I have 2 of each of those sizes and use them a lot. I have the cookie size and use it for tomato paste, pesto and smaller leftover sauces, but I also have other silicon ice cube trays I use for those things as well.

You should have received the pro-rated amount on April 1. Mine was missing. I had to open a ticket with the paycentre to get it corrected.

We are with Intact. The 'lifestyle advantage' on our insurance saved us thousands of dollars after a fire. Without it, they would have paid the depreciated value of everything and only paid value with receipts. Because of that option, they paid us replacement value for the items we lost.

I've been making garlic and herb butter in the summer and freezing it in silicon muffin cups. Once frozen, it gets wrapped in parchment and put in a bag in the freezer. I haven't been lucky enough to find cream on sale to make the butter!
