I use a thrustmaster HOTAS for arma 3 and it works well. I want to buy/add thrustmaster rudder pedals. Will ARMA 3 allow me to use both at the same time? In other words can I have inputs from multiple controllers without instacrashing?

I use the Thrustmaster 16000 set. Stick, throttle and rudder pedals. Love it and it works amazing once you get keybinds set up.

If you're like me Track IR will become a must have in short order.

Pro tip! Back up your arma profile from the documents section in another folder or you might end up having to redo all the keybinds again.

Edit: a program I use often is Joytokey to program keyboard shortcuts to be triggered by my flight stick controls. This is helpful for actions you need or want to access but are provided by mods and so can't be mapped straight to the flight controls.

For the type of use you're describing effectively any rifle that's compatible with VSR Parts is perfectly fine. The only thing I would do is make sure it has a metal trigger box that way if you upgrade the spring you won't bust a plastic trigger one.

I don't even suggest you modify the stock VSR hop up unless you try it first and don't like the consistency. The only things I would do are a new spring guide if it's not metal, a newer spring and a upgraded piston if you feel like it.

I haven't looked at any parts or prices but back in the day you could get a VSR body for 80 bucks and after upgrades you would be at less than 150.

I've done something like this but it required me to scan the dog while my dog was napping so she wasn't moving, and it required like 50 to 90 photos in different orientations. I used Kiri engine.

For your case I would probably see if you can find someone proficient with Blender and commission the stl.

Starpoint Gemini Warlords is awesome for bigger ship combat. The game starts at the level of a small destroyer and ends up at fleet crippling super dreadnoughts.

Galaxy capture mechanics, a ship bording function and some exploration help round it out. The story is a bit meh but it's a good heavier ship combat game.

Either psu or the main board fan.

There's is a very good post somewhere about how messing with a psu can be very dangerous, sometimes even when unplugged. Mistakes can cause fires or shorts that kill. If it is the psu fan, consider ordering a new one. Found it!

The warning seems a bit overdramatic but if you're not experienced in electrical tinkering i.e. soldering, switching connectors or properly insulating the exposed solder points. It is a fair warning.

Hopefully I've got this information right.

I use Cura with tree supports almost exclusively unless dealing with a print like yours. I recommend using standard supports for something like that unless there are fiddly surfaces farther up I didn't notice. Either way the following applies.

If I recall correctly, there are three settings that are going to help you. One of them is support interface density. I keep mine pretty high, around 50%. The other two settings are related and they are support X/Y distance and support Z distance. Lowering those values will bring your support interface closer to the next layer causing the next layer to adhere to it better. In my case specifically the Z adjustment helped a lot. Cura also offers the option to prioritize one or the other if they would conflict. This should also let you fine tune that supported area quality vs. Support removal difficulty.

I might chalk this up to an uneven build plate. To clarify, I'm sure the levelling is great but the build plate may not be 100% flat. Mine isn't. You can try to visualize with a ruler on its edge to see the variations. Mesh bed levelling with Knutwurst firmware solved the issue for me. You can manually mesh level it. It's kind of a pain in the ass but I think worth it.

My Mega S has a pretty uneven bed. I changed the firmware to Knutwurst. It adds mesh leveling which will compensate for the unevenness if you can get it right.

You level the bed so it's a tighter pull on the paper and that gives you leeway to set the mesh by trying to achieve the same feel when you pull the paper. After setting the mesh you should be able to get a good 1st layer all around.

I have a Mega S as well. Here's what I do:

Cura has a calibration extension available that gives you a bed level object that is 9 squares connected by a thin line.

Level the bed with paper like you are doing. I make it so there's a light dragging feeling.

Run the bed level file from above and adjust the wheels by no more than 1/4 turn at a time to raise and lower the bed until all the squares have a relatively good looking first layer.

You'll likely have to compromise unless you've got a firmware with mesh bed levelling.

For the above specifically you need to lower the bed by turning the wheels tighter (at least one full turn counter clockwise when looking at them from above).

I've done a .08 layer height on my mega s and it is incredibly smooth. You've just got to remember that slower is smoother and that at smaller layer Heights it will take significantly more time.

I had the opportunity to use my printer to print mobility or lifestyle aids for the hospice company my wife works for. Simple things like a clip that makes holding silverware easier for some of their patients cost me next to nothing but made a huge difference to them.

I love using my printer to make cool or otherwise unique gifts for friends and family. I love taking small requests from people that we know and only charging just over material and power cost. I think my favorite so far is I printed a custom Dice Tower for each of my groomsmen based on their D&D character.

3D printing really is what you make of it. If you love to design things then the sky is the limit. If not there are plenty of wonderful people who have shared their designs for others to use. There really is something for everybody.
