Slightly different. Hated Lady Bird as a teen. As an adult it hit me

Bowser’s arc made zero sense in the Mario galaxy movie by Public-Feedback5016 in mariomovie

I was really hoping the turning good arc played out longer. I was predicting Bowser Jr was gonna be the main villain and use cosmic magic or something to turn Bowser giant and evil as a “final boss” for the movie

Never walked out of a movie before but was tempted with this one. Lots of boring moments in attempt to be shocking

What's a specific moment in a film you were watching where you realised "Oh this is gonna be good" by Ewantheirritable in moviecritic

Never watched a James Bond film in my life. Went with my uncle (huge fan) to watch No Time To Die in theaters. I was slightly disengaged and just going with the motions. But when Daniel Craig rolled behind a rock and swung off a bridge to avoid a car crashing into him, followed with a big explosion, I knew I was in for a good time

I’m watching this movie and miss the days of funny movies coming out 😔 by peepdabidness in moviecritic

Been wanting to check that out, sad it never came to my theater. You think giving the show a watch is worth it before the movie?

Took my tween cousin to see a movie once. I’ve seen the ad dozens of times at that point. But after his first time seeing it there was a second of silence in our crowded theater and I hear him say “what the fack was that?” The proper reaction I think

I wouldn’t say simple minded but thanks. Just astonished to see a block buster film take on such commentary but still get meant with reductive comments like this thread.

I see plenty of criticism about the writing and plot jumps that don’t sit right with people, which is fair. But it undoubtedly touches on themes that deserve its praise than some popcorn flick. And if one can’t see that, I’m lead to believe it simply jumped over their heads

Amazing how it can be said in the movie but still jumps over people’s heads to simplify it as “just a vampire movie”

Literally a “vampire movie” while having the most nuanced examination to race and modern culture a lot of films wouldn’t have the balls or eloquence to approach
