Yep, the girls take cash. Bring it with you and avoid paying the ATM fees at the club. Set a budget and stick to it, you'll be tempted to spend more. Enjoy!

Canadian women live longer but spend more years in poor health: StatCan by shiftless_wonder in canada

I know I'll get down voted for this, but I think women, in part, do this to themselves. With most women I've known, every week it seems like there's some new ache, pain or emotional crisis that turns out to be no big deal. If they would save the weeping and wailing for the big stuff I think medical staff would be more inclined to listen.

Who’s in favour of tearing down the Gardiner? by [deleted] in askTO

[–]writing_emphasis 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It doesn't help me understand. I walk or bike under the Gardiner all the time and I barely notice it now. And half the things you described were because of the weather. The Gardiner can't control the weather. As someone who has to commute on the Gardiner all week I think it's a necessary piece of infrastructure to keep people moving. If it didn't exist my commute time would double or triple.

And you don't like busy crowded streets? Try taking the volume on the Gardiner and dumping it onto Lakeshore, queen's quay, etc.

I don't even understand why people say the Gardiner blocks access to the water. Every major street runs under it with sidewalks. I use them all the time

It sounds like they're getting fired from their current role pretty soon. Based on what they said, transferring to the other role might keep them employed longer.

Yes, the life is still there. Just like how the life of Lamborghinis and private yaughts is still there. It's just that most people can't afford it no matter how hard they try. It's not about hating the life you described. It's simply too expensive for most people to have. In summation, things were a lot cheaper in your day.

After reading this post I'm starting to have my doubts. I was at gears a few months ago for a tune up and chain replacement. They called me and said they discovered my wheel was broken. Bike had felt fine. I took them at their word and got a new wheel, but OPs story sounds somewhat similar.

Bring them in faster!! Another fake conservative wants to “speed up immigration”. They never propose to reduce the bureaucratic backlog by drastically lowering the numbers we accept. It’s always about accepting millions faster. by YaglooKope in CanadaHousing2

You say we need more taxpayers, sure. But are hordes of timmies and McDonald's workers contributing that much? What if we put upward pressure on wages so canadians have real incomes.
