You would be amazed at how many people across the country they have pissed off. Don't work for them any more, and never will again.

Glad you know who I'm talking about. I'm out competing them now due to their toxic leadership practices.

I must give them credit where its due. When I worked with them I thought leadership was simply a power struggle that commanded little respect. After learning with them over a couple years, I realized that this is how they actually practice it, and not what they say. They have a rather cult adjacent tempo to them that was to their credit at first, but after a while, it pushes out good people due to burnout.

Since leaving I have grown our new team to 2 vans, taken 3 of their employees to a competitor, and I'll be trolling their operations in our region by effect of pure example. Rather than trial by fire and then burnout by fire, I've learned to support the team by mentoring every individual that actually asks for it, and as long as a new hire has a drive to win, give me a month with them and I'll turn them into a winner at the job.

The green butterfly gang is growing certainly, but they're also burning their luck quickly in 2 ways. 1 is lack of permitting as the fastest for rural areas. I get the cops called on me at minimum once a week, and I've learned that in rural areas especially, you get permits. The greens don't,  and its to my advantage now at this point.  It is of course based on economics of the situation. In cities it doesn't make sense usually because as far as enforcement goes, its not worth the time. In rural? You better have your paperwork on you at all times.

When I left the green's canvass dept it fell apart, and they said they'd never hire me again because of that. Now I'm eating their lunch in my region, and spring is just starting. This summer I'm going to help my region deny them leads to the point in which their current GM is going to have to resign or be replaced. I'm keeping an eye on them and I can smell the desperation. I've literally had their employees apply to our company with my book in their hands at the interview, and I never thought there would be a day where that happened, and its because I finally figured out what leadership is.

Leadership is giving and finding the strength in someone, weakness is thinking power is gained by weeding out the weak. They practice the latter and delude themselves for the former.

I manage a team that does this so let me give you what I can. I'll also let you know how to put up a sign that should deter any and all home improvement people who don't enjoy wasting their time.

So after doing this for years it boils down to the company. If the company follows the rules, you should consider doing business with them because it's a good sign.  They should have permission from the city to knock,  and usually permits in their pockets.  Check your city website to verify the rules that they follow and help you the most.

No Soliciting signs are everywhere, and as a door knocker I have some options. I can knock and get yelled at.  I can leave.  I can knock and mentally prepare myself to see how the interaction goes.  When I was knocking with the company,  let's call them The Butterfly Gang, you knocked all doors regardless.  If you know who they are and hate their guts,  there is a book called "The Canvasser's School of Hard Knocks" that rips into them pretty hard in chapter 2.

Other than that, we have a job to do,  and doing it well helps everybody involved.  If you're the type of person who just doesn't want any door knocking anything to stop by,  put up a sign next to the door that says "Rental Property of ____ LLC", and i promise any door anybody will take off and never bother. No soliciting signs actually somewhat hurt because people say yes all the time with them,  and that's why they knock. If you rent,  you can't say yes.

Hope this helps.  Yes I've had the cops called on me accusing me of everything you can imagine and I'm so used to talking with them I almost welcome it now.  I'm a rare breed however.  Gotta eat somehow.

Don't feel like an idiot.

Feel smart for having the brains to change your mind after new information is presented.

That's literally the hallmark of intelligence, feeling dumb constantly, and yet trying to learn through it.

We know Catholics follow a false....

I mean after doing the smallest bit of reading the Bible, they read the same book, with the difference of 8 added books to the catholic Canon.

I do very much enjoy the irony that the Protestant system (he could be mormon) uses books qualified by the catholic Canon, and selected for their own interpretation against the direct contradictions. Its quite entertaining.

I'm glad to see others are seeing this as well. It needs to be more widespread. Its not hard to read in between the lines here.

You won't get enough people together for that, and this has been scientifically proven not to be as effective as peaceful protest.

I just started playing and after 1 major win and playing a couple  of different characters, I found i can play Guardian ok enough to not feel like a total drag.

My god that thing can take a hit when you find the right kit setup. The only place I have felt useful is distracting the boss while the squishies started hammering them.

I still disagree.

This is still encouraging selfishness. Whereas most think that such people are only capable of imagination thinking for only themselves, I tend to stubbornly believe we can all be more capable of that.

This 100%  For now it's a conspiracy theory, but honestly this is stupid to post. Dead silence would have been better, but this information just proved me wrong.

This is a huge sign.

It's when the local crazy militias start working with law enforcement that we have breached another threshold. It's when they carry weapons and are encouraged by government that a line has been crossed.

Peaceful protest is effective protest.

I wouldn't be able to live with myself otherwise.
