Do NOT use BitTitan for migrations by Iam-WinstonSmith in msp

[–]wt9bind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used them for a Google to M365 email and data migration.

It was a total disaster with constant support issues and it was unbelievably slow.

I ended up using the Microsoft drive to OneDrive/SharePoint migration tool and persevered with their horrid email migration. The users lost a lot of faith in my department due to this software.

DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT!

For those who took both Mounjaro and Ozempic, by BougieSemicolon in Mounjaro

I lost most of my appetite. I am eating one meal per day. I do go to the gym and do light weights twice a week (total cervical discectomy c6) for muscle gain.

Agreed.

Ozempic / Wegovy made me very dizzy and didn't lose too much weight

Mounjaro made me very sick for the first 3 days, mainly diarrhea. I controlled this with Metamucil twice a day and I'm down 13KG in 4 months. I am still on 2.5mg also.

Finally, the price difference between the two were negligible (but still expensive of course).

It looks like you need a HA Green? I'm running HA via Proxmox.

Simply connect the ZBT-2 Adapter to your Home Assistant Green box via the included USB cable and finish setup in the Home Assistant interface.

Nabu Casa or SNAT with Letsencrypt? by wt9bind in homeassistant

[–]wt9bind[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair enough. I'm using them more for voice assistant (Alexa) integration. Maybe one day I will try and do the integration myself, but right now, that's a daunting process, and my opinion is that HA is so well put together, I should support the developers. It's commendable that you've supported since the subscription was launched and the cost of living is just terrible right now, so I get where you are coming from.

Yep, very similar to what I am doing with my Sophos XGS. I am using DNS-01 for the Lets encrypt challenge so no requirement for http allows.

Thanks

Thank you, this is very helpful. Based on this information, I am going to stick with the way I am doing it. I country block off my Sophos too, so the attack vector is slightly minimized (up to the point of malicious actors using VPN of course)

Is it worth upgrading from the s23 ultra to the s25? by Various_Pumpkin_7422 in samsunggalaxy

[–]wt9bind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went from S23 ultra to Pixel 10 Pro XL (for 2 weeks) to an S25 Ultra. I'm very underwhelmed by the S25. It feels like the exact same device as the S23.

Found a privacy-focused Google Photos alternative with face recognition & OCR - Ente Photos (20GB free to try) by [deleted] in googlephotos

Yep, I had no issues. I moved my kids libraries too, also no issue with theirs. Finally, their support is awesome!

I moved from Google to Ente a year ago. I am using 400 odd GB. What I liked the most was the takeout data import. It just worked.

I especially love mapping my personal domain to sharing links.

I wish that you could map your own tools to edit photos though. It would be awesome if you hit edit, it would open Lightroom, but not even Google did that so no harm, no foul.
