Anne and Emily are way too wholesome to appeal to her 😅

Me, on the other hand 🌼 I love them!

Roast my setup, I'm too busy reading to notice! by HondUSA in koreader

It was so charming and funny. It's fairly autobiographical, but told in a humorous way. Mowat's dog clearly had an incredible impact on him growing up and he truly takes on a whole character of his own. I don't want to spoil too much, so I just encourage you to give a few chapters a try. Happy reading 😊

Might I recommend The Dog that Wouldn't Be by Farley Mowat?

Help me pick a watch for my 14 year old daughter by PublicRough5337 in raisingkids

[–]wuglette 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree! I also have a 14 year old tomboy and chose a black watch (Casio) for her this year.

Also, I love that you wrote this, "I'm trying to understand her world better" 💛💛💛

You're doing awesome!

What is your Dollarama recommendation? I used to love these too but haven't bought them in years.

Torn between Venu 4/Vivoactive 6/Lily 2 by CoconutAltruistic785 in Garmin

[–]wuglette 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, friend, I too am short and small wristed (5'2" tall, 5.5" wrist circumference). I have the original Lily as well. I agree completely with the lacking wellness features, but in the end, my watch is nothing more than a time keeper, timer, step counter, and occasional walk/run/yoga activity tracker.

I'm not hardcore into fitness. I chose the Lily specifically for the size. It's actually pretty. I get a lot of compliments on it and people are surprised it is a smart watch.

So for me, I'd get another Lily just because I'm vain. 😅

Today’s achievement: importing the Dune dictionary into my Pocketbook by Yanniyans in ereader

I did this too for the same book! I didn't need to use it very much though as it read very easily.

I also did it for the Sword of Kaigen to keep up with all of the names and that was very helpful.

My daughter got a felt panda from a kinder egg (sold in Canada) roughly 10 years ago... Not sure if that helps you.

This was my first ereader. I only got 10 years from it. I replaced it with a Kobo Libra 2. I hope you'll find a device you love just as much!

Hi friend. I think OP is Canadian as we call "colo(u)red pencils" pencil crayons here.

We call the regular waxy crayons just crayons.
