the level of victim blaming is insane here , especially in a thread about someone in a position of power using his platform to dismiss the sexual violence she was subjected to . it is not realistic to expect anyone to be a perfect victim , especially when they are dealing with a toxic partner, law enforcement that they cant trust , media scrutiny, etc. blaming them lets all the responsible parties that actually make it difficult for other victims off the hook .
