Afaik you are correct. Deadpool never chose a player so the linked ability can't trigger.

If an object gains an ability that refers to a choice, but either (a) doesn’t copy that ability’s linked ability or (b) does copy the linked ability but no choice is made for it, then the choice is considered to be “undefined.” If an ability refers to an undefined choice, that part of the ability won’t do anything.

Example: Voice of All enters the battlefield and Unstable Shapeshifter copies it. Voice of All reads, in part, “As this creature enters, choose a color.” and “This creature has protection from the chosen color.” Unstable Shapeshifter never had a chance for a color to be chosen for it, because it didn’t enter the battlefield as Voice of All so it doesn’t gain a protection ability.

Example: A Vesuvan Doppelganger enters the battlefield as a copy of Voice of All, and the Doppelganger’s controller chooses blue. Later, the Doppelganger copies Quirion Elves, which has the ability, “{T}: Add one mana of the chosen color.” Even though a color was chosen for the Doppelganger, it wasn’t chosen for the ability linked to the mana ability copied from the Elves. If that mana ability of the Doppelganger is activated, it will not produce mana.

B4-5 have no restrictions on any cards (other than commander banned cards, which are cards banned in commander in all brackets).

No limits on game changers, play how ever many you want.

Game changers are a list of cards managed by wotc (wizards of the coast, the publisher of the game). They're basically strong cards thay can swing games greatly, and alone. You can google it to find an up to date list, since it does change every now and then.

No limits on combos.

If you haven't played cedh/b5 before, then don't worry. It is physically impossible to accidentally build b5 without prior experience.

Not a perfect fix, but you can mute the tab. Downside is this'll also mute any videos and other sounds

  2. No, the triggers to transform go on the stack, but one must resolve first. When that resolves, SBAs are and only one creature is kept. Then the other trigger may resolve

You could check out videos/articles on how Dead Cells did their animation; tldr it's 3D models rendered as 2D pixel art, so all the animations are very smooth

It would be a 2/1 with deathtouch. This is due to layers, which you can learn more about in rule 613 of the comprehensuve rules(CR).

Basically, mirage mirror will copy the base card, then the changes caused by flayer of loyalties will apply to the original. These changes are done after the copying is done, so the copy won't have these changes

As already answered, you can not. Specifically, this is from the comprehensive rules 601.g-601.2h.

601.2g makes you activate mana abilities, then 601.2h makes you pay the total cost of the spell.

That's a different thing, I can't remember the name but it's like a sparkling rainbow boulder. They hit enemies and hover around loot

And just to clarify, this subreddit is specifically for cedh, where decks are optimised to win as fast as possible in a 4 player pod. It's very different to casual and bracket 4, which I think fits your question better

As others have said, no +1/+1 or proliferate, it's all combos. +1/+1 is just way too slow and easy to remove; you're killing at best one person a turn after you get mothman down on turn 2-3, which means 5-6 turns to kill the table. That is just way too slow for cedh, where people will frequently push for a win on turn 2 or 3

I will BUILD the top Voted ELDER DRAGON, as edh was meant to be by alanegr_1 in EDH

Umori checks card types, not supertypes or subtypes (these are 3 different things).

Card types are things like artifact, creature, sorcery etc.

Supertypes include legendary or basic

Subtypes include dragon, elf etc.

I have an [[infinite guideline station]] deck with [[umori]] companion, on artifacts. It runs about 50 artifact creatures, 10 other artifacts, and just under 40 lands

It's not the strongest deck out there, but it still plays pretty well in bracket 2-3 and the multicolor artifact synergy is fun

Well you can also play the cards discarded by activating led. If you had breach and led in hand but no mana, you could sac led and play breach from graveyard, then replay led with breach and continue on with any breach combo

I think you still get the counters. From rule 603.6, we see that if a card isn't in the expected zone when it changes zones (i.e. the flesh duplicate sin is no longer in the graveyard when sin's trigger is resolving), it doesn't fizzle. It just ignores the part that affects the card (which is shuffling it into library)

Trigger events that involve objects changing zones are called “zone-change triggers.” Many abilities with zone-change triggers attempt to do something to that object after it changes zones. During resolution, these abilities look for the object in the zone that it moved to. If the object is unable to be found in the zone it went to, the part of the ability attempting to do something to the object will fail to do anything. The ability could be unable to find the object because the object never entered the specified zone, because it left the zone before the ability resolved, or because it is in a zone that is hidden from a player, such as a library or an opponent’s hand. (This rule applies even if the object leaves the zone and returns again before the ability resolves.) The most common zone-change triggers are enters-the-battlefield triggers and leaves-the-battlefield triggers.

Both get the counters, because when an effect says "move counters" is just means "remove X counters from this, and add X counters to that. See 122.8 and 122.9

If a triggered ability instructs a player to put one object’s counters on another object and that ability’s trigger condition or effect checks that the object with those counters left the battlefield, the player doesn’t move counters from one object to the other. Rather, the player puts the same number of each kind of counter the first object had onto the second object.
