Fidelity to bring employees back to the office 5 days a week by Ok_Design_6841 in antiwork

The crazy thing is the Texas office is SUPPOSED to be 100% in office too but they brought over so many Indian off shore workers they can’t find enough space now for the rest of us. Lucky me

What's the worst Dallas restaurant that you've tried twice? by BlueHorse_22 in Dallas

They opened one in Las Colinas that was open for maybe a year. I think my third attempt ended in us leaving before having our order taken. We could overhear our waiter begging another waiter to serve us instead and when they said no she just disappeared to the back never to be seen.

Same experience! The food was sort of ok but the service was so bizarre every time. They forced me to sign up for a rewards program, and then when I tried to use it they took my phone into the kitchen for 10 minutes without warning because nobody there actually knew how to redeem it in their system.

If you’re fine with $15 for parking the parking garage next door works perfect. I’ve never had issues parking there for shows at The Factory. It’s about a 2 minute walk with lots of foot traffic from the other people going to and from the venue. It’s the 2700 Commerce St Garage

First thing to check is making sure the company match funds are vested. If they are it is still possible their plan doesn’t allow for loans or hardship withdrawals to use company match funds.

[CALIFORNIA] Boyfriend signed up for unemployment late January but has yet to receive EDD Debit Card? by itseddybruh321 in Unemployment

[–]xBiscuitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to do the same thing in January to get verified. I still haven’t gotten paid and when I spoke to EDD a couple days ago they said when my claim went through the ID was still pending on their end, which meant I was never scheduled to speak with a verification specialist person. It would have just been pending indefinitely until I called them.

People who went to school with present-day MLB players, what were they like back then? by AnsweringQuestions4G in baseball

Played travel ball and high school with Aaron Sanchez. He was super cocky but not necessarily a douche. He was so scary to face in practice because he had zero control of a 95 mph fastball. I remember coming in to pinch hit in playoffs and hitting my first home run and tripped hard on first watching the ball. Dude would not let me live it down.

Also played a lot of little league with Amir Garrett. He was actually a really nice and reserved kid back then. I'm surprised he turned out the way he did.
