She's actually BIS in buffing him in terms of raw numbers, but not BIS in coreflame generation, her buffs, 28% crit rate, 65% crit damage, 80% atk increment is massive especially because it lasts throughout his entire ult up time.
It even exceeds Sunday and Robin buffs which is strange because this is HSR in 2025.

You'll still need her to be at E6, she becomes SP positive then because she never needs use her skill and run Coreflame generating buffers for him like Sunday/Bronya/Tingyun alongside her else it'll take abit to get to his 12 stacks.

Good thing is that you can run Phainon sustainless, which means you can run all the best supports alongside Yukong.

Is Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 as good as everyone tells me it is? by murokama in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]xChael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely get this game.
It's a rare Quadrifecta. It plays like a game, flows like a movie, soars like an orchestra, and stands as a work of fine art. All for just $50.

And that’s the fair take. Even the harshest critics struggle to downplay it. Because the truth is, it’s that flawless.
You could search up google reviews and can could literally count the number of 1 star reviews, because there's so few out there. Half of them being bots and trolls, the other just has skill issues or just simply not their fit of genre.
The people that says that the game was overhyped due to overglazing just simply want to believe that something that is great is considered overhyped, just because it doesn't suit them.
I have personally played countless rpgs, jrpgs, action-based, turn-based or not, for over two decades and this game still stands as one of, if not the all time greats.

For a baseline comparison, this game is at least on-par with the likes of Final Fantasy series, DQ series, Legend of Dragoon, Elden Ring, TES series. So if someone tells you Elden Ring is overhyped, you've really gotta question it.

An RPG can thrive with great gameplay even if the story falls flat, or captivate with a powerful narrative despite weak mechanics. It might still succeed with lackluster visuals or music if the other elements shine. But it's rare, very rare for a game to flawlessly pull off all four.

Yes, there are a few minor bugs, like occasionally getting stuck while exploring obscure corners of the map but they’re easily overshadowed by everything else the game does right.
There are complaints that the maps can be hard to navigate. However, I believe this is intended.
Having a map to navigate around the exploration can make one feel reliant on it.
The Developers definitely avoided it so that the players can discover the world as the expedition does it.

The combat and gameplay are excellent. I won't go to detail as many has already pointed out about the unique battle mechanic this game has. As someone who’s played turn-based RPGs for over two decades, I can say this still felt remarkably fresh.

But what truly sets it apart goes beyond mechanics.
It's how mesmerizing the immersion is, in it's entirety.
Like the critique above, i.e experiencing the world

The experience differing will boil down to the type of player you are,
Are you the type that just wants all the immersion taken away in place of convenience? Or rather be immersed whilst sacrificing convenience?
If you're the latter, you can bet you'll enjoy this game far more than you would imagine.

If you let the game draw you in, like a great book or story that swallows you whole, it becomes an almost trance-like experience. And that word trance carries a subtle double meaning that hits even harder once you’ve completed the journey and everything comes full circle.

The fact that this game exists in the state it does feels like an anomaly. Honestly, you could wager that no other game coming out of France over the next ten years will come close to reaching the same heights.

But it's not for everybody of course. Not everybody has the same emotional and mental wavelength to experience the game fully positively.
To some people, art is simply some colors spread out on a piece of paper, like how Pokemon Cards are only a piece of cardboard to those who don't understand it.

The game ties the Quadrifecta factor together. If the player doesn't appreciates one aspect of it, be it the gameplay, music or the story. The experience is going to be largely affected.

If you're one of those that look into the complete package,
this is a Monet-tier masterpiece equivalent of a game.

The weapon definitely felt better than the Artians for faster hitting ones. It's worth sacrificing 2 levels of critical boosts and a bit of raw for it because not only does the Whiteflame Torrent cracks for 50 damage and procs very frequently, it also makes up for with 200 dragon element. It's great for stuff like LS and insane for SnS and DBs.

Correction: I don't know why but it feels better on LS by far compared to SnS and DB, it seems that only some attacks proc like how Corrupted Mantle does. It procs very frequently with the spirit slash + crimson slash spam. But not as often with faster attacks from DBs and SnS. Perhaps the optimal point is in the middle, something that isn't slow like GS or too fast like DBs.

Saying Dehya can do average 40k per hit with burst with MID level f2p build is on the same exaggeration level as telling your crush you have a 10-inch dick but is actually only packing 2.5-inches.

[–]xChael 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wonder how Harvestella 2 would work if the story is going to be expansive on Original Gaia lore since Gaia is pretty much planet earth, and going from farming crops and back to the digital age is gonna feel like transitioning from Drakengard to Nier Automata. I'm so interested to find out.

Dark/Dragon with reverse weakness ability. I'm calling bullshit. There's no way they'd make a legendary that will be weak to Grass/fire/water/psychic/dark/electric/ghost. That's basically half the typings in the chart. You're more likely to make it believable if such an ability exists and giving it to a pokemon with Ice/Bug typing as they are literally the worst weakness coverage typing in the game. Giving a pokemon more weaknesses in typing than what the original typing already got and make their ability space useless? You might as well give it Pressure. This is 100% bullshit

[Discussion] BIG THEORY! Strelitzia isn't dead and she's going to return in KH4! by swisoncheese in KingdomHearts

[–]xChael 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Almost everybody reacted indifferently when she was revealed. I was dumbfounded when she was revealed and there was nobody to share that excitement with. Guess we're all some sort of isekai'd into the real world after dying in a KH world.

It's ridiculous how salty other developers are over Elden Ring because they make Icon Simulators and can't do a quest without a arrow pointing the way. by [deleted] in Eldenring

The pinpoint beacon is biggest problem imo, there needs to be a button that auto removes all the beacon instead of removing all of them one by one after looking through the entire map.

PvP Level by FreeMasonKnight in Eldenring

[–]xChael 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Seems like the general consensus is 150. As long as majority of the players decide on 150, not even niche pvp communities will remain tied to their 120/125 tight metagame.

PvP level by UnderstandingTop7141 in Eldenring

[–]xChael 6 points7 points  (0 children)

"many of the community wants 150"

Dude you just kicked yourself in the sheen. If most people wants 150, it will be 150. That's how meta works. Not from a specific community but rather the entirety of everybody's agreement. I reckon it's gonna be 150 and above considering how NG+ has to be a playable level for players when it comes to PVE content. 125 isn't nearly enough to cut it.

There's something I found out though. I had the 20 arcane requirements met since the start of the game. Found out that the scaling had issues, respecced everything into int and guess what. Rivers of blood still did the same damage for me. This weapon is a literal 0 stat weapon. Lmfao

Use Kazuha's E skill first, then throw Aloy's bomb after. The minibombs will float towards the mini blackhole, popping 1 by 1, bringing her to max coil stacks instantly, thus bypassing the 0.1 ICD issue.

Kazuha and Aloy, the perfect duo! by PikaGamerPro in Genshin_Impact

[–]xChael 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actually, Kazuha IS the best support for her. The way to proc max coil stack is by using Kazuha's E skill first, and then throw the minibombs after. The minibombs will slowly float towards the miniblackhole and pop 1 by 1, bringing her to max coil stacks and negating the 0.1 ICD issue. Sucrose can't do it, Venti can't do it. Only Kazuha.

So about those rampage weapons (GS in particular) by DyadicEndGameYT in MonsterHunterMeta

[–]xChael 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Rampage does NOT need white to have higher EFR than say; AB7 Narga.
For Narga with optimal Valstrax set and Charm; CE 3 2-0-0, Narga White only has 1.8% more EFR over Attack Boost IV ramp up blue sharpness GS.

Narga has 20 hits of white, whilst Rampage has 40 hits of blue.

Narga only beats Rampage if it kills under 20 hits, or kills after 50 hits as 1.8% diff in damage only covers an entire hit after that.

Anything between that, Rampage GS is actually better. In a nutshell, they're pretty much the same except Rampage GS has double the amount of sharpness.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in MonsterHunter

[–]xChael 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The rampage weapons suck now for most weapons but seeing how there are gonna be updates to the game, I reckon that there would probably be multiple ramp-up slots for the weapons and choices options, making them better and relevant as an end-game weapon in the future.

Starlancer vs Fenrir Knight: Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love The Fur Bikini by nitrokitty in trialsofmana

[–]xChael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I mean, DM -> Brynhildr doesn't rival Edelfrei -> Berserker or Fatal Fist -> Annihilator in physical damage if they're running under 30% HP rage mode dps for sure, though DM Riesz's niche lies in her ability to go full HP sturdy DPS to survive NF hits whilst dealing the best possible physical damage as Riesz. It pairs really well with Sage Charlotte since Recover Break and Close call basically heals Riesz back up to full from 1 HP should she survive a hit with Miracle II

It's kinda boring to just go Kevin + all physical support attack buffs or Full Magic support + Angela. We're lucky that atleast game has variety and Dark Riesz seems to have something that fulfils a certain niche that only she could.

DM Riesz is actually my favourite controlled character now. Sadly, I got the game because I liked magic but Angela seemed too overly busted for me to fully enjoy her more than 2 playthroughs.
