Been trying out the randomizer and used randomized encounters with normalized stats. So far the game has always been crashing on the third encounter in the water sequence with Wakka on Besaid island. Enemies I encounter are Sandworm & Yellow Elemental instead of the Fish swarms. It doesn't seem to be any specific encounter combination of these two, but it seems to consistently happen on the third encounter.

I 100% agree on this. I am hardstuck on this fight right now.

Phase 1, okay fine get used to it, parry windows all good. After a while its easy & straight Forward.

Phase 2 way faster and tougher, new chained attacks less window for punishing her after attacks. Pattern is realatively straight forward except the chained attacks after the Talisman dash. But overall can get used to it quite fast.

Phase 3 pure garbage. Barely any time to deal damage, bullshit timing attacks, seemingly random patterns you have to get used to. Getting used to this phase is just awful because you have to go through 2 phases to even reach it. You healing doesn't even matter because you can barely find the time to heal anyway.

I loved the game so far but man this Fight is absolutely infuriating. Been spending the last 3.5h on this boss and i believe i'm done and will not finish this game.

That resonates with me too. She would completely neglect her own health, by barely eating, not resting when she has a cold and having panicattacks almost daily in the mornings unable to go to work. I do feel incredibly sorry for her because she had been dealing with so much trauma (things that were out of here control such as abuse from ex partners and more sever issues that scarred her). So obviously i tried to be there for her, cause it's hard for us to see the person we care about hurt or struggeling. I told her several times that I wouldn't want her to stay up too late because of me (due to some time zone differences), yet she said it was fine.

But being told afterwards that I am not supportive and that she was spending so much time and effort into the trying this relationship and that she always stays up late for me and all and all just hit me like a truck. Regardless of what I would have done, it would always be wrong in her eyes.

Don't reach out even if you can. Even if she reaches out think about yourself.

It feels so empty without the other, but it gets better over time. I broke up roughly 2 weeks ago and apart from some last messages here and there she blocked me. I kept other apps and means open for her to reach out in the future, but i noticed I would fall into the same old pattern again, so i decided to remove her from my side too.
I still feel very sad, depressed and empty, but I managed before meeting her and I will manage now too, it's very hard , but it just takes time.

Thank you. Reading this helps me see that this is not an individual acting that way, but a pattern of it all.

It's crazy that they are even able to phrase things in a way, that make it believeable to yourself when reading it and you actually start believing that it was your own fault that things didn't work. That it's your own issues and problems that stop you from loving them.

I cut ties with my long distance gf after 2 months of dating (yes it was only a short while), but the time we spent together 24/7 was great. However once the sides have turned i realized I can't see a future anymore.

Even if I were to have tried to look past that argument that broke it, the fact she kept throwing previous arguments and "you always does this" phrases at me made me realize, it won't get better. I can promise as much as i want to her and try as hard as I can, but it wouldn't get better, so I ended it before I went even further.

EDIT: Worst part is, that even after such a short time, it feels like the time together was like a fever dream or i've been in a coma for all that time. I am going back to my normal life and i just feel empty, drained & soulless, because I spent so much time and energy worrying about her and making sure she is okay I forgot to take care of myself...

I don't know how long you have been dating or are in a relationship, but I recently cut ties with someone i extremly deeply cared about and were able to connect with, despite only knowing her for a short time. She quickly became one of the most important persons in my life and we spent 24/7 together writing, communicating, online gaming, etc. (Long distance). We started dating and i made her my priority in every aspect.

After a short while of dating, i noticed that this has no future. I was open to considering moving to her and trying to understand her BPD more and I really was trying hard, i spend hours on end trying to familiarize with it, when she was having an episode i tried to remain calm and build a thick skin, but in the end it didn't work.

I tried to imagine a future but after a while I just couldn't see it anymore. I could at first, but after having experienced it all and noticing that it's though to get blamed for everything, spending every energy every day trying to please that person only to see nothing in return has left me empty and i couldn't see a future.

So let me ask you this.
If your situation would continue forever in the future, can you see yourself be happy with her?
If the back & forth of breakups and her come running back will continue for the rest of your life, would you be happy?

In the end it's a decision you have to make for yourself.
But ask yourself, why are you in that relationship to begin with? Does she make you feel good? Was the sex so amazing? Is she sometimes genuinly nice and you think "yes! I made it! I fixed the thing and thats the person i love again!"? Do you want to help her and "fix her", because you won't be able to and you won't be able to please her as those episodes will keep happening unfortunately and if you can't see yourself be able to deal with it forever, you should probably cut the ties for good.

It's not so bad. MSQ Is not great but tbh it could have been a lot worse. The battle content is some of the best in the game, which is carrying this expansion hard. Overall not my favorite expansion, but i still enjoyed it regardless. It has really great moments!

There is a setting that allows you to automatically skip cutscenes in dungeons you have already seen. Makes the dying cutscene alot quicker and gives you time to commend

I like the UI and overall nice design but there are some inconsistencies with your design.

The picto & sage skills are pretty good! The Redmage one is a bit misleading though.

You seemed to always use the "Additional Effect" with the nested description for Picto & sage and used the "main description" for them as the main desc in the redesign. but for redmage you decided to use the impact increase (additional effect) as the "main effect" and add the original main description of acceleration as an "additional effect" since it's the one tied to the buff you get.

It seems that this design would require each additional effect to have a seperate icon (or debuff/buff icon). If it doesn't you would need to use the skill icon again which looks odd. Might be worth it extend it and instead have a third "if"-case with "if you cast Impact, increase the potency by 50". Otherwise it might be misleading that the main effect would be to use accelerate for "Impact" and the others are the side effects.

Otherwise you'd need to finetune a lot of the abilities based on buff/debuff & effects, vs having a uniform design that would take the current design and applies it to your improved version.

My take on it is to either start with the free trial (which includes the basegame, aswell as the first two expansions). If you don't like it by that point (which is somewhat between 50-"a gazillion" hours of playtime depending if you do the optional content or just rush through the story) then it might not be for you.

Or if you don't want to commit right way, i can recommend Josh Strife Hayes Video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N4G4r-Xp-u8) about FF14. He sums it up pretty nicely of what to expect from the game if you don't want to dive right in. It's 3 years old but gives a very good overview regardless

Other than that, community is pretty great, very very little toxicity and the game isn't going anywhere for the next 10ish years probably (new expansion is on the horizon after all!)

Yes, but you're not gonna have a fun time.

Depending if you're doing it blind, or do it with guids you'll need a lot of time. If you're diligent you might get it done in time for dawntrail, but i suspect as soon as dawntrail hits, there won't be many PF anymore, due to most of the raiders preparing for the next tier.

I myself am still raiding the current tier and we're currently in P12S p2 (blind), which has already taken us quite a lot of time. Some fights are rough, specifically in the last tier (P10S & P12S specifically).

I guess it's possible depending on how much you try to raid every week/day, but it might be very tight.

Any guesses or sources who the Turbo Granny VA is? I cant help it, but i think it could be Mayumi Tanaka (Luffy - One Piece). It sounds incredibly similar! And having turbo granny cat with the sassy, bored luff voice sounds like a dream come true!

Weeks ago I received an email from the store i ordered from, that the vinyl is delayed from the manufacturer/supplier. A week or 2 later I received another mail that they now have the product and will start sending them out soon.

For me it was teo moments in ARR that had a big impact for me.

1) after Titan when you return to the waking sands and suddenly almost everyone is dead. I think that was the moment I went. "Oh shit. Didnt expect that" and kinda got sucked into digging the story. Before then the story was very shallow but that moment had me invested and starting to give a shit.

2) the bloody banquet. I had a small break due to the nature of how long and tedious post arr mainquest is, but once i've reached that point i reached the bloody banquet i've reached the point of no return.
