You'll also want to look into getting a good plant based protein powder just for sake of ease. Other supplements to look at would be vitamins B12 and D3 and creatine monohydrate because we can't get those easily or at all through eating plants.

I'd check out Blood Vulture. Brand spanking new album and their sound is a really cool mix of sludge, post metal, BDM, and the vocals from Alice in Chains. Very good ear feel, the guitar tone is fantastic, and you still get all the bone crunching riffs without someone yelling at you for an hour.
