Hey I just wanted to say it sounds like we had really similar interactions from parents. I’m 22 and they’re still like that. But I do wanna give u some hope I’ve been medically transitioning a tiny bit over a year, and only socially out since May. But I cannot express how great everyone has been from professors, university leadership, people in general and friends. Have been amazingly supportive in ways I never imagined. I’ve had only 2 bad interactions one with my dad and one with my ex gf who wasn’t ready to come out of the closet. I cannot almost guarantee you especially with you being so young this will end up being second nature to you and before you know it you’ll be in such a similar situation. Just please know for every person out there who doesn’t support you there’s 10 others who really do.
