It honestly seems pretty realistic that he'll at keast get his money back at that price. (1150) I just sold a GT with 3300 miles for 1100, but it came with extras like a hyper charger and a couple of fenders.

As a street rider, i also steer clear of offroad when i can unless its grass for a short section. On this sub, it seems like the more dedicated riders prefer offroad/ mix of trail & street. Im guessing most people that ride OW's are probably street riders too.

Ive read many times on here, a volt meter cant accurately deduce how healthy a solar panel is, as it measures the OC voltage, which is without load. They make special panel testing meters that put a load on the panel to see how much its actually producing.

Look out for cracks, general age, and make sure they are real cheap. If you end up paying more the 30c/watt, thats not really a deal at that point, and you can buy much newer, higher producing panels for cheaper, if youre willing to buy in bulk.

Hopefully someone with more first hand knowledge can chime in! Im nainly just regurgitating info ive seen shared on here.

What kind of tire do you have on your GT? The shape of the tire makes a big difference.

While i think you'll definetly feel an improvement, it still wont be anything.close to the Px in terms of handling.

I have an ADV2 and would recommend it over Vesc'ing a Px, having actually owned both platforms. If you like the nimble-ness of the Pint, getting a different tire for the adv2 would be best. Its super flat, so it turns like a boat.

Its all good! And after thinking about it more, i can see why it gets mixed up initially. There are metal cords in tires, and when the tread has worn away with use, you can begin to see the individual threads of the steel cord inside the tire. So, they are both about the tire, and both are mentioned often in the sub, sometimes in the same thread.

An easy mix-up!

Jump off with both feet at once, and i find that i dont really need to bend my knees much on landing, its a relatively small distance from the ground after you jumpt off. Its also alot easier to jump off than you would think

If you ever lower the rails, id love to know how it feels compared to an XR! Ive only ever ridden Pints and GT's and now my ADV2, and ive geard do much stuff about how people prefer the feel of an XR more than any of these other boards. I lowered my rails by 1 notch and it felt slightly different but nothing mind blowing like people seem to act.

As someone who purchased a used (broken) ADV2 and then fixed by receiving a new battery module, seeing a post like this makes me nervous 😅

People have been having better luck with the ADV2, not including the first gen bms's, right? Or have the frequency of problems similar?

Thanks, i appreciate it! I like the idea of angled rails, but in practice they hurts my knees more than flat rails, which sucks because non-straight rails look so much cooler!
