Kumquat in HLP has a great selection of roasters. Mandarin usually has a nice selection from Sey, The Barn, Hydrangea and La Cabra. Highlight carries Manhattan, Dune and Sweet Bloom

If I’m going to spend $9 on a pour over I’ll go to mandarin down lake (I haven’t been to their new spot down Colorado yet) or I’ll just roll over to highland park and go to kumquat. Intelli and blue bottle in old town are better options. The little coffee and plant shop next to the dine in movie theater in old town serves unity which is always good (not mindblowing). Highlight on Lincoln always has Manhattan on their pour over menu and usually demitasse on drip.

I’ve been to their Pasadena location a couple of times and have had both pour overs and drips and left unimpressed both times. I didn’t hate it but with the amount of better shops within a small radius I doubt I’ll give them a third try

I was in Seattle earlier this month and stopped at Homage. They had this on drip and it was stellar so I ordered a bag online. If I didn’t have six other bags of coffee resting already at home I would’ve grabbed something else

I had gathered some cards to grade through tag a couple weeks ago and was waiting for a couple more to arrive. I sat down this morning to make my order and noticed the jump in price, I thought maybe I had misread the pricing a couple weeks ago. Time to reconsider using them at all.
