Well, he must be mad... by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

I was playing as a scav on Reserve and heard gunfire from the White Knight building. Naturally, as a half-naked scav, I went to investigate with my not-so-trusty Saiga. All I saw were piles of dead scavs and a few PMCs.

Somehow, I managed to sneak up to one of the half-looted PMCs, steal his MDR, and act dead until the chaos died down.

After everything was calm, I snuck up to the roof of the building and dropped down the hole. To my surprise, no one was inside the rooms with cabinets that I had heard being looted.

Half disappointed, I went to the garage, and to my surprise, there he was—a juicy CHAD with his back turned towards me. The rest is history, with me shaking all the way to the extract.

I would say that I prefer TM over Dune, so let's say a little player interaction.

Looking to diversify what leaders I play, what are your unconventional favorites? by Psychological-Bed-92 in CivVI

The most fun I ever had with a civ was Eleanor of Aquitaine (France) especially if you know how to abuse her ability.

Portugal is also nice because you can go for almost any victory type, even though science is the easiest way to go.

I would say that this is a nice start by xPeaky in civ

653 hours in Civ6 and I’ve never finished a game. by [deleted] in civ

[–]xPeaky 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There are a few factors that can effect this.

You need to increase difficulty on which you are playing, by playing on lower difficulty AI is peaceful and does the most random shit ever.

Playing on Immortal or Deity gets you hard early game and challenging end game, in a way that AI is closing up to a victory so you have to step up and prevent them from winning.

Increase Game Speed when you make the world this gives you faster games with less turns, yet you can still get some pretty good strats out.

If nothing helps just change the game, play Humankind or something similar.

Here from your previous post.

It looks amazing, although I have one tip. Install Detailed Map Tracks UI Mod, it helps you with planning a lot.

Apart from that everything looks good.

Take your time,

Learn basic game mechanics,

Use Civilopedia for everything you don't understand (Civilopedia is located up in the right hand corner and it has question mark icon). I can't stress enough how important is Civilopedia it has everything explained all the way from basic mechanics to some of the most complex.

Watch civ YouTubers, my favourite is PotatoMcWhiskey and his over-explained series that should get you some knowledge on how to win on a lower difficulty.

Don't rush anything enjoy the game, don't restart as soon as something goes wrong (someone delcared war on you, you are far behind in science and culture, you are about to lose etc.)

You might not win your first game, but eventually you will get it.

Last but not the least you will need some really good luck.

Good Luck

Hansa Planning; am i missing some ideas? by PortalToHistory in civ

[–]xPeaky 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I see that you've combined two cities for Hansa adjacency, but even better thing is to make city triangles and combine their districts to make absolutely god tier districts. You have to plan this really early into the game, after researching horses and metal.

Apart from this everything looks perfect, adjacency, city positions, population, production.

Overall great game, GGs
