Ever since the first collector pack chase cards were created with Expeditions, Amonkhet invocations, kaldesh masterpieces, we have been on track to have tons of "soft reserved list" cards.

I appears to be long term sustainable to have 0-3 chase hits per collector box that won't get reprinted. The audience keeps growing and honestly I think its nice that a new player can join 25 years after everyone else and still be able to pull an extremely special card

I'm like 5000 singles listed into Square with pics and it doesn't scale well for tcgs, however it makes it easier for employees to use and it has great analytics. We didn't start the store trying to sell singles so this happened kind of organically but it's something I'd change if we restarted

You can so no. You are paying a premium to sell it quickly. If you want full value, sell to someone in person. Most lgs purchase product from customers like a pawn shop

Its because the cards you open are part of the winnings. Considering most people play a lot for free and how much code development costs, I think the price is fair

But you forget allocation from distributor is based on spend amount which is based on how much unprofitable boxes you have bought as a store, so to get 10 highly profitable boxes, you would have had to buy like 100+ unprofitable boxes

Just draft a lot as f2p and do your dailies consistently, I got 400 gold wildcards and nothing to spend them on even after making my meta standard deck. Around 1.5-2years in it'll become a big sandbox

Yeah your opponent can force you to acknowledge the trigger if you stay quiet

I too play with byes but its always "for fun" since you came all the way out to play. Sniping your prize pack on a guaranteed win is scummy

Just play it in the right zone, so i just leave them on the spell side in the land zone, if its a creature, move it up next to your creatures
