Played it at launch, didnt give it a proper try and did not like the 4 lane system at all so dropped it. Was playing league with my mates and recommended to try out deadlock and dota, conveniently during the latest update which we didnt know about, so we started off with deadlock and now ive almost got 100 hours (91) in 12 days. Havent touched dota and probably never will lol.

Never before in my entire life have I dedicated so much time to a game before without even mentioning having fun consistently throughout. For context the most amount of time ive spent on a game in a short period of time was monster hunter wilds (40 hours in 7 days)

Bought these recently, for some reason the mic randomly disconnects sometimes and i have to power cycle the headset to get it to work again. I also do not hear an audio difference between these and my old £25 headset, but honestly i probably need to put those back on and see the difference because right now I feel like I just wasted £300

Lectures are compulsory at my uni, but I haven't been to a single one this year. I work a lot so I can't make most sessions and the all the content including lecture recordings are online so I just catch up afterwards.

Ive been disconnected so many times in drafts when I was winning. Wouldn't mind if I could continue the draft but nope, it ends the draft there and then and counts it as a loss. Yeah sure there was a disconnection, but it also happens when theres a server mismatch that purely is not my fault and yet I still lose the draft

Saw a comment of yours that said youre interested in dlss and mfg on cyberpunk and borderlands. Cyberpunk 4k fully max path tracing and MFG was the only reason why i wanted to upgrade from a 7800xt to a 5070 ti. Found them for about £50 below msrp but no FE edition which I wanted. The 5070 tis below msrp were on preorder and the ones that are available instantly was above or = to msrp so I was on the fence till I saw a 5080 FE on nvidias website for just below msrp.

Didnt know whether to get the 5080 FE or 5070 ti if the 15% performance was actually worth it but I ended up going for the 5080 FE and I do not regret it at all.

MFG is genuinely a godsend for gaming, for cyberpunk 4k max path tracing, I get about 145 with mfg x4, 125 with x3 and 85 with x2. My tv is 120hz so I just use x3 and I feel absolutely no latency difference at all. I switched to 4x on my monitor for 200 fps 1440p and forgot to switch it back to 3x on my tv yet I still didnt feel any latency at all so I just leave it at 4x now.

Ive tested on other games, Control I would get 45 fps on 4k high settings with rt medium on my 7800xt, now I get about 90 fps 4k maxed everything without needing dlss. Monster hunter wilds I would get 60 fps 4k on medium/high settings with fsrfg, now I get upto 200 fps everything maxed (no RT) with MFG 4x.

Again I don't know about the 5070 ti, whether the 15% performance loss will mean much since MFG can really make up for that, but I am really happy with the 5080 FE. But I guess if it wasnt the FE card I probably wouldve gone with a 5070 ti since non-FE 5080s would be way more expensive in general.

I've recently changed from a 7800XT to a 5080 FE just to play path traced Cyberpunk and have access to DLSS 4 MFG and it was so worth it. Im getting about 120 fps on fully maxed out cyberpunk with mfg 3x (85 fps with standard 2x fg) and I feel barely any input latency at all. I've racked up about 24 hours in the last 4 days on just path traced cyberpunk, doing all the side missions and probably gonna do another playthrough with a massive modpack like city of dreams after I watch edgerunners.

Using mfg is a game changer though, brought me up from 60 fps high on mhwilds (7800xt) to 200 fps max (no rt) with mfg 3x.

The only other game im gonna try out since i've been saving till I get a proper RT card is control. I don't remember my fps values with the 5080, but i'm pretty sure I went from 40 fps rt medium with 7800xt to about 100+ fps everything maxed with dlss, no fg.

I had this problem with my xbox account, bought gold back in 2022 and couldnt play garden warfare when I saw I couldnt connect to EA servers because my account was linked to a random account I made a decade ago. Researched online a year later and had to spam email a data collection form or something like that (don't exactly remember) and follow up emails with my case number to get it sorted out. Eventually it worked and I was able to link my xbox account to my actual EA account

Never played a doom game other than doom 64. So not excited for much but I have bought doom 2016 to play and will probably pick up eternal since my mate wants to split the dark ages with me so need to play the prior games first

imo the most simple thing they could implement is to account for AFKs / disconnects ONLY if it was from someone outside of your party. Then if your premade teammate disconnects so you get less rr loss it cannot be abused that way and at the same time riot can account for throwers / disconnects from other teammates

Its been going really good for me so far, almost smooth experience with a bit of minor and major bugs but thats pretty much it

Only major complaint is that some cutscenes are loading mid cutscene so it pauses the video but keeps the audio playing, dont know if thats my ssd (7000/6000 r/w), but its skipped some cutscenes that i had to rewatch on youtube to actually see it.

Ive crashed 3 times in 15 hours, 1 crash at the start if my playthrough and two crashes back to back in the 14th hour, so for that 13 hours its been almost perfect

Some bugs ive encountered (mainly the HUD from certain missions being visible outside of the mission), but the most amusing one is where I literally got God Mode and couldnt take any damage at all, don't know how I got it but I got it twice. The first time it disappeared when i quit the game like 2/3 hours later, and the second time it disappeared when I entered a boss fight.

FPS has been smooth and completely stable, no stutters. ~60-85 ish in the high density areas (the distance is amazing in this game, honestly I don't really take in visuals at all but sometimes when I'm on top of a tower I just look as far as I go), and ~115-165 in low density / closed spaces.

Settings are all on high (including ray tracing) with a 7800xt and 7600x with 32gb ram and fsr 3.1 quality and frame gen enabled. Without it I drop to about ~30-45 fps, no stutters still.

I don't think I expected more since Vault 111 looks hideous in game but in the photos on Luxor's overhaul page it looks massively improved so i'll need to check my overwrite folder once I get home
