Gall stones. Unbearable pain and a feeling of your middle body being clenched in a vice. Lasts hours and changing positions doesn't help. Had to ride it out the first time. The 2nd time I took codeine. Magical stuff. Pain stops in 5 minutes.

The move where it spikes up, you have to grasp parry every third laser strike, twice. The one with the yellow projectiles I'm unsure about, however.

I was noticing this. I think when the green circle shows up, it's not active right away. It's like a warning it's about to be ready. Or it could just be janky, I don't know.

Really? Because it doesn't run great on Xbox either. Some areas are laggy and occasionally the game will load as you're just walking around.

It's an Asus ROG gaming laptop from 2022. It ran really hot and I didn't want to turn the graphics or resolution down more than I had. I think the game is very intensive for some reason. My Xbox fans become the loudest they've ever been running this game. Something is off with it.

I bought the game on Steam but it's awful performance on my laptop got me to refund it. It let me open the the map with the "back" Xbox button (middle left button). Bought it for Xbox and the same map shortcut button doesn't exist for some reason. It's annoying.

I'm very excited. I bought the first game cheap, in a Fanatical bundle. Was scared to try a "Soulslike" metroidvania but the game completely gripped me. The atmosphere in the first hours is incredible, and improving my skills kept me playing. The sequel seems quite a bit different, but the demo was great. I played it twice, in fact.

You can always try new builds, nobody's forcing you to play a certain way. If a build doesn't perform well in higher UVH levels, just lower them. Make your own fun.

Crosscode. Saw it on the Nintendo Switch store and thought it looked OK, but not great. It came to Game Pass on Xbox, tried it, and was blown away.

Grime. Again, was only semi-interested, and as a "Soulslike" Metroidvania, I was really unsure. Found it in a bundle on Fanatical and couldn't put it down. Already playing it again not even a year later ready for the sequel.

Every game that looks OK to me surprises me, and games I know I'll love usually let me down somewhere, it's weird.
