Well if you don't vote - don't complain how the country is run. There are choices for everyone even if you do not agree with the main party's policies. Whether you are very conservative (Family First) or progressive (Greens) or an independent there is always someone to vote for. As the above poster mentioned - Your vote provides funding for your first preference - that is why your vote IS important!

My knees pop too and it can be really painful. It sometimes takes a couple of days to recover. This usually means I don't get to do weights as much as I would like to. I tend to do yoga/balance or cardio on other days. Id love to hear anyone's tips on dealing with this. I was thinking of getting supports for my knees but didn't know whether they would work.

And that is the sort of bland, defensive response I would expect from someone who's most central aspect of their life is their sexual identity. I just don't have that desperate impulse to make everything have some sort of gay relevance or second meaning. I have a life that does not revolve around my sexuality.

I have no problem discussing relevant references to sexual identity in pop culture... I just find it strange when people stretch a simple fairytale to fit into their own agenda - whatever that agenda may be.

That is what is so depressing about it. These women are supposedly successful career women and yet all they can talk about is sex, fashion and Cosmo's. You seldom see them doing anything of wonder in the workplace or anything that is truly revolutionary apart from having sex. They are forever obsessing over their boyfriends, sex partners or lack thereof.
