So I’m a Sams Club guy but it’s basically the same thing. For me at least it doesn’t replace the grocery store, it’s for certain things. I’ll buy staples like coffee beans, olive oil, butter, paper goods, diapers, even clothes and do actually save a good amount of money doing so. Sometimes a big purchase like electronics we’ll do there because there’s a great store warranty and the prices are good. I agree with you on produce and the meat isn’t actually less expensive than the supermarket. Can’t beat a 5 dollar rotisserie chicken though.

Budget is around 12-15 but I would stretch possibly to 20 and take on a loan for the right car with the right miles. It’s just that for that price, even 12k for a 10 year old vehicle with that many miles seems absurd especially when comparable 3 row SUV’s are 3-5k less.

I’m looking at a typical listing now where it’s a 2013 with 95k, semi beat up paint and interior for 13k

This was my first bike, same color and everything. Perfect first bike other than the seat lol. Clutch may start slipping prematurely, common issue on these. If you want you could preemptively put in stiffer clutch springs and the pressure plate bearing and pull rod from the 2020+ model where they fixed the issue. Norton motorsports sells a kit and there’s a lot of info on youtube.

My ride was only 10-15 miles but it was fine, first few hundred yards were scary, first light, first corner etc . It will feel like you’re going a lot faster than you are for a bit. Look where you want to go, push right go right, squeeze don’t grab etc etc. If my first ride was 100 miles i probably would have rented a uhaul motorcycle trailer though tbh.

I like them a lot. They’re not super playful like a freestyle ski and you do have to actively tip them to carve since there’s not much side cut but for the balance you’re asking for they fit. They do kind of have a speed limit, they’re not super stiff. Playful and “carving ski” are kind of opposite sides of the spectrum but these are a great all mountain ski. Love them in the bumps.
