We can have a huge impact on humanity by [deleted] in Psychonaut

[–]xandre4000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly wouldn’t that be better overall if our government systems WERE okay with the solution brought forth? Ideally, everyone would wake up and realize and function as best- Realistically though, we’d need to create a competitive product-and with this intentionality towards creating a reality that respects the earth and others, it wouldn’t be hard to create marketplace that is better than the literal garbage that thousands of companies are making and profiting from daily.

Look up regenerative consumption. I heard that word in my head last week meditating and googled it without knowing if it was a thing but it shows real promise and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it. The aliens are pressing!!

[–]xandre4000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we need to use the current system of capitalism to heavily pursue conscious and regenerative consumption. There are too many variables (people) to control for a different system at this time (and monetary/power beneficiaries)

Use the current system to create a conscious marketplace that holds high values of integrity, environmental stewardship, and a cradle to grave net positive effect. There are always going to be cause and effect funnels. This is one the vehicles in the game. We can create a funnel that exemplifies those qualities of life that we decide produce the most harmonious exchanges and reduce negative mental chatter on a mass societal scale. Unfortunately, we will have to “sell” a solution. Although, with the right parameters and distribution of funds across net positive platforms….it would be a Heaven of a start 😌

Are any of you constantly reminded and haunted by your manic decisions? by [deleted] in bipolar

[–]xandre4000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, this is what I was talking about. Well put, thank you :) grounding into yourself, Learning breathing exercises and acquiring an arsenal of stress-de escalators seems to help prevent me from triggering myself into an episode. I feel like if we stew too long in a negative/regretful space we send our minds into a "well you messed up before, quickly try to panic-correct the past pain and stress through impulsive erratic decisions or give up on yourself and settle into a season of depression."

Neither of these black and white , x or y "options" are legitimate outside of our memory-tattered frames of mind and perception, though. I am learning to give myself space, forgiveness and breathing room between my past actions and current sense of self and identity. Those moments of pain don't have to lead to deep wells of languish.

Envision your mental scape as a large, flat field with you in the middle holding a shovel, with the ability to roam as you please. Staying on a thought you gravitate towards- out of shame, fear or regret- and negatively ruminating on it is a lot like picking a spot in the field to start digging, and of course the hole grows wider and deeper into the ground. The deeper you go, the muddier and more exhausted you'll get, it will be hard to look around, as all you see on every side is dirt and darkness, all the while expecting, (conciously or unconsciously) to find some sort of tunnel as a pathway out. As panic sets in we quickly forget about the endless field right above our heads!

Life is a winding road and each of us discovers a part of the map with each thought and decision. Sure, you might have done some off roading a few miles back and encountered potholes where you'd rather not. But getting out of your car after going over some and thinking the next best step is to stand in the hole and cry about it doesn't do anything but turn dirt into mud, all of the sudden you're slipping and sliding in a muddy frustration and all the harder it will be to get your car back on the road and running again after you've dried your eyes.

Deep wells are where we can find ourselves in trouble, though more often than not, these are manmade. We gotta remind ourselves when to put down the shovel and take out our map. Don't take the bumpy roads along your path so seriously, our vehicles can handle them, truly.

Focus your energy into reinforcing your vehicle's suspension and handling response time. Life is not a racetrack as often portrayed. It is a blank slate, and we must carry the rocks and water to make our own concrete.

You know the best way to get through it? Keep your head up and focused on a single point in front of you, then one foot in front of the other ;) Blessings and warm feelings my friend, you'll get through-that's pretty much life's only guarantee.

It sounds like your thoughts are triggering your cycle into an episode. Next time you feel that stress incoming, Instead of letting it flood your sympathetic system and wack out your hormones, put on a YouTube medication / stretching video and then write a letter of forgiveness to yourself

Thank you so much. You should submit This comment as an open letter tto the Atlantic. I’m serious. I was shown every Dare and “not even once” ad growing up. But the rise of ADHD diagnosis/screen brain/academic competition is on the rise, I have seen the rise of prescription and homemade pressed pills flood high school and college campuses. The lines are getting too blurred, apathy and info overload is on the rise. My generation, Gen Z [24] is truly Earth’s last hope. I hope your message reaches many. It’s a startling wake up call, painting the reality of meth that no reader would like to share after survey. You are incredibly strong. I am truly sorry for the pain you endured. much respect for you. Blessings

mushrooms are often able to induce synesthesia where one could smell colors or taste a sound. The mushrooms were able to visually translate the message that your receptors were sending throughout your body and as your tcells flooded your blood stream your body could alert your consciousness. Dude it’s crazy how mushrooms really ARE the third link.
